We have visited Bruges several times previously but always...
We have visited Bruges several times previously but always in the summer. Visiting at Christmas, we were blown away with the decorations, not just the Christmas market but the whole of the centre of town. Over the years we have visited 22 different "Christmas markets" and whilst many other locations have larger and more interesting markets, none can compare with the decorations in Bruges. Totally amazing.

Brugge's is a beautiful, historic city with plenty to see...
Brugge's is a beautiful, historic city with plenty to see and do. At Christmas the city is enchantingly pretty with festive lights and a winter market. The light trail around the city was spectacular in places. You will never be short of places to eat and drink.

The streets are hard to navigate. The hotel should provide a better map with better landmarks.
It’s a lovely little city. The food was delicious and the canal tour was wonderful. Lots of history and charm. I would definitely go back again!
Some of the vendors were a bit gruff. Not so nice when it came to the selling of the mugs!

The entire town/city is full of interesting architecture, walks, pony and trap and boat trips. I would certainly get a guided tour, it gives a great way of seeing everything. Bruges old town packs so much into it and all within an easy walk round. The restaurants were all great. There is nothing not to like. Heartily recommend a visit.

Bruges is lovely in December.
Market could be improved as it seems to be full of food cabins and hat and scarf cabins rather than individual exclusive christmas items.
Whole atmosphere is wonderful, lots of good shops and museums and areas of interest.

Beautiful city surrounded by fantastic fascinating architecture. The shops and places to see especially at Christmas time made our trip magical.The walking and boat tour was a splendid way to take up 3 hours seeing the sights and learning about the history of bruges.

The hotel is situated in a fabulous location, a short walk from the heart of Bruges old city centre. Beautiful, picturesque setting offering a peaceful night’s sleep. Added bonus was the option of secure parking.
Great breakfast, helpful staff, clean and comfortable accommodation. The owner Giles is an exceptional host who is on hand to advise and assist if needed. Highly recommend the Adornes … we loved it!

Beautiful old hotel with gorgeous dining room in an excellent location on the canal and close to all main attractions. Canal view was impressive. A kettle and coffee in the room. Modern bathroom. King singles joined with two doonas was great. Lovely staff. Kindly deal with an issue.
The view is great - right in the heart of “In Bruges” filming set. A highly popular area.

Everything was amazing. Clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Had the best night sleep followed by a lovely breakfast. The hotel is ideally situated in a nice small town in easy walking distance to Bruges centre.

This hotel is on the edge of the city centre with easy access to park at the hotel and a short walk to the main centre of Bruges and eateries. The hotel has a lift and breakfast was very good.
