First of all the location is very good. It is located in the middle of Wallonia (between Bruxelles, Charleroi, Namur and Liège, at 2 min from E42 and 5 min from E411. Really you can find better.
The Room
The room was outstanding. We booked a twins room and we got upgraded because the hotel was fully booked. The hotel is very busy and it is imperative that you book your room several days in advance otherwise you might not find a room.
Everything in the room is new beds, matrasses, telly etc..
Room quite spacious and the shower was huge. Everything was provided towels shower gel etc.. I know, all this is quite obvious but I've been in hotels where it wasn't nearly as obvious.
A kettle is also available in the room with tea and some coffee.
Really it the room was outstanding.
Breakfast
One word here: Excellent!
You can get continental or British breakfast (they are only missing the kidney beans otherwise you have everything you can think of. You can also have a fresh orange juice. When you book the room don’t forget to also include the breakfast. It is worth any penny of it.
The internet
The internet service is very good.
You can get internet in your room and the broadband is enough to stream a video film from Netflix or any other streaming provider.
The restaurant
At the ground floor there is also a very nice “Brasserie” (brewery), where you can have a nice meal. It is a bit pricey but it is very good. The Brasserie is not related to the hotel it belongs to an independent owner.

I highly recommend this hotel.

The restaurant downstairs is also a gem! I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the very comfortable pillow and was out for 10 hours. Can't recommend this enough.

We stayed at Namur the previous year, but only for one night as en route to Luxemburg.
Decided to come back for a couple of nights. It is a beautiful city with lots of lovely shops and restaurants. Great views of the city from the Citadel which can be reached by cable car. We did that on our last trip. This time we took a tourist boat along the river and it was most enjoyable. However, commentary, was not in English, but we enjoyed the sights anyway. It is a very clean and pretty city.

Generally unknown gem of a place that is little known outside of Belgium. Really pleasant feel to the place and ocne the renovation works of the citadel are complete then Namur will have had a good overhaul, along with the riverside developments of 3-4 years ago.

Namur seemed fully booked, being a celebration weekend, but we found our stay in Jaumes was in fact perfect for our one night. Close to all amenities and after securely parking the car we spent our time exploring the nearby citadel and riverside. Might have to visit again to see Namur itself!

There's a gondola ride to the citadel where there's a visitor centre and a dotto train. There are boat rides on the river. There's a small park. It's ok for a day, maybe two, not longer.

Citadel was interesting, we did the underground tour and...
Citadel was interesting, we did the underground tour and really enjoyed it. Cable car was fun, good views, busier going up than down. There are river boat tours too.
Town centre was pretty and nice for wandering around, plenty bars restaurants.
A good base for exploring the wider area.

Le duplex d'Albert is a little apartment in Namur, very near to the city centre and with a private parking. This apartment is an attic with two floors, kitchen and dining room at first level and bedroom and bathroom at the second level. The apartment is very nice and confortable, with air conditioning and all that you need in the kitchen.There is also a balcony with a fantastic view on the Namur citadel. So this place is perfect to visit Namur or other little cities in Wallonie.

Perfect Stay!
We had a perfect stay at this modern and beautifully designed hotel. The location is excellent situated between Namur and Dinant, it’s ideal for exploring both cities. The area is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Free parking was a big plus. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well thought out. Highly recommended!

Room was large and comfortable. Evening meal was excellent but book restaurant early as it gets booked out. We were able to park in the car park at the front of the hotel but it's a bit of a lottery. Hotel is conveniently situated in the town centre
