Very lovely and compact if you're staying near Varna Beach.
Very lovely and compact if you're staying near Varna Beach. Huge pedestrian zone, easy to navigate the city (I used Google Maps the first day, and then I was roaming like a native). Loved the huge stretch of park along the coast, all the restaurants and bars. I arrived just as school started, so on the fringe of the season. People very, very friendly. Absolutely loved the beach bar and restaurant Pechkata and the Sea View. Calamar Bar. And my favorite, The Forrest. Swam with the dolphins at the dolphinarium (fantastic!) and even bumped a jellyfish on the head by accident (lucky that, but the poor sucker ended up on the beach two days later). For my first visit to Bulgaria, very positive (I mean, the jellyfish did NOT sting me, so there is that).

From a tourism perspective, it's not a very interesting city. It has a large park, a less impressive pedestrian street, and a long beach that is crowded and littered (lots of cigarette butts are scattered around). There are a few scattered socialist-era sights still in the city. I would recommend visiting the nearby Balchik instead.

Excellent value for money. Everything was very clean. The host was very friendly and hospitable and tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Delicious and abundant breakfast included, which is incredible at this price range. One fast food joint located at about 100 mtrs distance. One non-stop supermarket available at about 150 mtrs from the hotel. Very good location for visiting Golden Sands, Zlatni Pyasatsi Nature Park, Saints Constantine and Helena and of course Varna, by car.

The location is perfect, very central for quick access to a beach, park, restaurants and public transport but tucked away on the residential side road so very quiet and peaceful at night. Beds are comfortable and clean, room bit outdated but hotel itself has this 1920's vibe and charming decor. Breakfast was nice and tasty too, selection of diffrent type og eggs, sausages, pastries,fruits, coffee, etc. Over had a good stay.

Polia was friendly, helpful and very accommodating.
Beautiful garden, swimming pool exactly as on the fotos. Perfect location, next to the beach and in walking distance from centre.
We are definitely going back when in Varna.

The property is very cosy,it is the second time we come at this hotel and the 5th time visiting Varna city.The room is very tidy and clean.We will for sure return,if available.The view and the garden is amazing and the accomodation is exactly as per the pictures.
