The view from my window/balcony, the endless and palm-fringed beach, not to mention the spririt of Vinicius, made my stay a tropical dream come true. Peaceful, with a pool surrounded by a lovely garden; there's also a restaurant on the premises worth recommendation.

The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything you might need. Breakfast was fresh, varied, and full of delicious options to start the day right. The location is also excellent, close to everything but still peaceful for a good night’s rest. I understand that rooms are gradually being upgraded – I was lucky to be in one of the first. The room was large, incredibly comfortable and with a wonderful view of the Igreja de São Francisco. The pool is small but a bonus. Breakfast was excellent. The staff – from the receptionist, management, cleaners and in the breakfast area were all very friendly, kind and efficient.

United KingdomThere wasn’t anything to fault with the Aram Yami hotel. The staff are absolutely incredible - attentive, informative and knowledgeable. The morning breakfast was superb - thank you to the kitchen staff who were always smiling! We chose the Bahia Suite which was perfect. Super large, comfortable bed with soft pillows, great A/C, separate shower and toilet and a wonderful view out to the pool. The pool area had stunning views across the bay. Complimentary drink and fruits on arrival. Wish we had more time here. Next time!

The studio apartment was absolute perfection. There is staff at the front desk around the clock and a security guard stationed outside, which made me feel safe at all times. The location couldn’t be better—it's set in one of the most beautiful and upscale areas of Salvador and just a few blocks from the beach. You’ll find everything you need right on the same street, including a grocery store, coffee shops, and even museums.
This will definitely be my go-to spot whenever I return to Salvador. The host was incredibly accommodating and shared so much helpful information about the area. I highly recommend staying here!

Historic colonial centre is nice and interesting.
Historic colonial centre is nice and interesting. However, the rest of the modern city is pretty ugly and in a bit of run-down state, more than we expected. Barra beach with lighthouse is nice with some decent restaurants.

Salvador is a beautiful and vibrant city with colorful historic streets, lively culture, friendly locals, and amazing food. The beaches are stunning, and it’s easy to get around with Uber. A wonderful mix of history, culture, and seaside charm. As a solo female traveller I had a great time and highly recommend visiting.

Certain hotels are not very compassionate of your needs.
If I had to do it again, I would definitely not stay at this hotel.
Anyway, it is a done deal that will not be duplicated again!

Amazing architecture, well described and educational museums, very nice polite people, pretty decent food and drink. You need about 4 days overall, to get to know the city, and possibly go back to the places you liked best (if that's your thing when you travel - it is for me). However, the religious thing does get a bit tiring, as does the noise level. Best part of town by a long stretch was Santo Antonio depois do Carmo, which is beyond the Pelourinho. The Casa das histórias de Salvador was very good, albeit a bit short on live story telling.

The staff was professional and kind. The location was excellent, in a good neighborhood, between the center of Salvador de Bahia and Barra area. Both the common areas and the room were clean. The room was quite large, so was the bathroom; the light was perfect to read in bed; there was a safe in the room; the shower had an anti-slippering floor and a normal system to control water presure and temperature. Breakfast was really wonderful. I had dinner twice and the food was OK.

Awesome concierge with Valerie & Bruno!! They turned the stay a unique experience and provided the warmest welcome, plenty of local tips. Complimentary services like airport transfer and restaurant reservation worked like a charm. The small boutique hotel is located at the beginning of the beautiful historic center of Salvador. Perfect for an easy, secure stroll into the city! Moreover, the rooftop pool offers a great view including sunset panorama. Fantastic stay!

I have stayed in many hotels around the world, but this hotel was one of the best i have stayed in. The staff are incredible here. They are so helpful and polite and will do anything for you. The breakfast and the food is superb. The rooms are icredible, actually, the biggest bed ive ever slept in! But also the location is great for those who want to explore the cultural richness of a city like Salvador. Do not hesitate in booking this hotel, you will not regret it

It's a lovely hotel in a very nice place of Salvador, next to the sea side.
The bed has been very comfortable, the furniture was lovely designed and the breakfast was wonderful!
We would recommend the hotel to anyone in any case and we will definitely come back!
