JapanAmazing stay. Would definitely come back in the future. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, they gave us a gift at check-in for Easter that we absolutely loved. They also gave directions to find the shopping mall that is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The area is super safe and clean. We walked back from the mall after sunset and felt secure in getting back to the hotel. The breakfast is exactly as pictured in their pictures. It has a large selection and stays open from 6 to 1030. Food stayed warm and is changed out. The shower had the best water pressure I've ever had at a hotel. The rooms and hotel are very nicely styled and modern. They have fresh water, iced tea, and hot tea near reception as well. They even gave a gift when checking out.
The wi-fi is 9/10. I work from home and needed to work in the hotel for a day. I had no issues the entire day and was able to join a meeting with no interruptions and the internet never fell. Absolute best hotel wi-fi I've ever had. I gave it a 9 because I could tell it wasn't as fast as a household internet service. I only had med. sized files to download so I'm not sure how it would stand up for upload/larger files. Would probably just take longer to load large files which is just something to keep in mind.

breads , include the famous Brazilian cheese bread. Egg dishes were prepared at our request.
The team of staff in all areas were courteous, friendly and attentive.
The building of the Bê Hotel was built in the 50’s and fully renovated. It is modern, clean and the rooms are spacious.
I loved the blackout blinds. The mattress on room 54 was perfect for my four wonderful nights of sleeping.
The varanda on the 7th floor a beautiful future.
The gentlemen by the door in the in the evening was polite and helpful with our luggage, suggesting places to eat and where to go.
The front desk personal were fabulous.
I am in love with the Bê Hotel.
I forgot to ask the motive behind the unique name BÊ Hotel.
I will be back but won’t be too soon, unfortunately.

BrazilI chose Leques Brasil Hotel Escola mainly because of its location. I wanted to stay in Liberdade but not too close to the Japão-Liberdade metro station, as the area gets extremely crowded on weekends. Instead, I opted for a quieter spot near São Joaquim station, just a few steps from Galvão Bueno street.
My experience was excellent from the start. I arrived early in São Paulo, and my room was already ready, allowing me to check in ahead of time and head out right away. With Bom Retiro and Liberdade on my itinerary, having a metro station just three minutes away made getting around incredibly easy. The staff was friendly and welcoming, providing helpful tips to make the most of my stay. I booked without breakfast, as I wanted to explore Liberdade’s street market, which was a great choice.
The room was spacious and comfortable, with a large bed and a great window view of the Japanese lanterns and surrounding buildings. Since I stayed on a high floor, I had a quiet and restful night, except for the occasional sound of birds — specifically, the green parakeets (maritacas) that I’m already familiar with in my hometown. :)
If you're looking for a convenient place to stay near Liberdade and Bom Retiro, this is a great choice. It’s also an ideal base for those who love shopping in the area. Plus, being just a short walk from the metro makes exploring São Paulo much easier.

I loved the choice of all the Cafes and restaurants and many attractions around the city. I also liked the fact that i could take the Metro (subway) pretty well everywhere feeling safe and was easy to use with Google maps.

São Paulo has endless entertainment to offer—it's impossible to see and do everything in just one visit. If you can, take a ride through the main tourist spots so you at least get a feel for the city. A walk through Ibirapuera Park is a must, and don’t miss driving by the incredible brutalist buildings (there are many, but MASP and MuBE should be on your list). Check out Beco do Batman—it’s so much more than graffiti. Enjoy the food scene, visit a samba bar, spend an evening in a listening room, and stroll down Avenida Paulista on a Sunday afternoon.
São Paulo is a huge playground, and Brazilians know how to have fun—and they’re genuinely happy to welcome you. Go, and then go back again :)

I loved my entire stay in Sao Paulo! The locals are extremely friendly and helpful. The vendors are helpful and patient! I look forward to returning! Getting around was super easy, Ubers are in abundance and super affordable!

Don't spend more than a day in this city.
Don't spend more than a day in this city. We went with a vastly open mind, bu the city shut it tightly. Its not pretty. Honestly, we were back there 4 times, and let me assert, it was 3 times too often. There is traffic, which will numb you brain. Totally and utterly impossible to comprehend that 10km can take 90 mins. Its a city yes, but its gigantic and not appealing - it has the charm of a concrete fish. Its the amazon made of cement and motar. Those 24 million people, are all around you, living in towering blocks of endless flats. Check out the cathedral, some of the museums, the botanical gardens (which are in desperate need of love), and the zoo, and you're pretty much done, especially if you have kids. Good luck.

São Paulo is very lively with lots of nightlife, museums, parks, malls etc. The metro is modern and easy to use, and safe. The cost per ride is about $0.90USD. That is both for the metro and commuter rail lines. Beco do Batman is also a must see.
Do not stay downtown. Although there are many sights there to see during the day, it is a bit seedy at night.

Sao Paulo is magic, plain and simple. It is a fast city for jetsetters, artists, rockers, and travelers looking for adventure. It really is a Gotham City that is amazing. There is something there for everyone, but especially for the intrepid adventurer. The parks are a must, the nightlife is phenomenal, and it is beautifully gritty. Sao Paulo, despite its size and grit, did not make us feel unsafe. The Brazilians are some of the nicest people I've ever encountered. They are kind, generous, and want to share their city and culture. You can't miss the parks, especially CienTec, which is ran by the warmest curators, ever. Pinheiros is one of the best neighborhoods, especially for the artsy type. Try the baiao and the picanha. It can be difficult to get around with public transport, as you need cash and small bills. But, uber is an option, and it is cheaper than most cities. Sao Paulo won't kill your budget, either. The city is completely underrated, and deserves more credit. I hope to return someday.

I still don't remember any of them where all the things I value - location/services/cleanliness/breakfast/staff - were as good as this hotel. That's why Calstar gets a full 5 points from me on all of these. And thanks to the location on a small street, even the silence in my hotel room was surprising, considering it's located in the center of Sao Paulo.

The hotel location is excellent, almost a prime location. Only teo blocks from the central Avenida Paulista, literally 5 minute walk to the Sao Paolo’s iconic Museu de Arte de São Paulo (MASP), 15 minute walk to Reserva Cultural, the best cinema in the city. The room was large and clean, the elevator perfectly fast and available. Staff generally pleasant.

The included breakfast was really great, with many different and delicious options to choose.
The parking is very practical, as you can take the car's key with you.
The location of the hotel is great, easy to arrive and very close to the main avenues in the São Paulo West region.

Not the best neighborhood in Sao Paulo, but hotel was clean, comfortable and competitively priced. I got an early. check-in without any problem. Helpful staff, even though they only spoke Portuguese, and I didn't.

Whenever I visit Sao Paulo, I always stay this hotel. Good location, nice restaurant near there, feiras on thursday and saturday, and until comfortable bed. I recommand to the others.
