Its an excellent place to stop over if you have a flight the next day. It is easy to get to Vancouver airport and take around 60 to 90 minutes skirting the US border. The town itself is busy - lots of traffic and not what we found in the rest of our Rockies trip. There were no bugs. But I did check the mattress and base boards (which were showing many years of wear and tear) for signs.
