But it was the staff who stood out, head and shoulders above the other hotels I stayed at during these two weeks. They were pleasant, well-informed and willing to listen. The city looked so much cleaner than American cities.
The city looked so much cleaner than American cities. The traffic was controlled, the air was fresh, and the streets and sidewalks were clean and lighted. The urban blight so common in American cities was not visible, and the police presence was subtle but obvious.

The hotel was a short walk from Victoria Park, a lovely park...
The hotel was a short walk from Victoria Park, a lovely park with large trees, paths and walkways. On Saturday a portion of Dundas street was closed off to traffic for pedestrians and vendors were there, along with street musicians. It was nice to wander around without traffic.

the streets had a lot of closures to many of the lanes due to a tremedous amount of construction.. the parks are wonderful and there are lots of places to visit and explore..but have lots of MONEY for parking.

Fairly easy to get around.
Fairly easy to get around. The airport is quite small and renting a car is a waiting game, since one desk and one person work for 3 different companies. The Budget and Avis counters are dark if you arrive after 5 pm.

Roads under construction for 3 years we were told is bad....we love that they have many restaurants choice is all areas.. way way way too many cars..they need to transport or something. We are walking people and with all the construction happening on the roads it made it very hard to get places ..used under the whole time.

Best quiet sleep I've ever had away from home. Rooms and bathroom are a little dated. I always stay at the Lamplighter when I travel to London and stay overnight and never get a good night sleep like I did at this hotel. At the Lamplighter Inn, you can hear kids running down the hall door from other quest closing and chatter from ppl in the halls or the sounds of traffic Wellington. Super 7 I was not disturbed by other guests or the sound of traffic.

it is an excellent location, minus that it is directly downtown London and you know what goes with that, with that being said it was a wonderful hotel! the staff the location and the rooms were VERY good, the people at the front desk were very helpful and nice! I will be back many times in the future!
