Everything was very clean and organized. We had a late flight that came in at 1am and they offered us late check out (which was free of charge). The rooms were very spacious and weren’t expensive at all for one night. Even with shuttle service, the staff was very accommodating with offering ubers or taxi due to the shuttle not being available at that time. They allowed us to stay in the lobby until the shuttle was ready due to us having a very late flight. Overall very accommodating and pleasant experience. Everyone was nice, everything was clean. To start, the location is great. You can wander around Old City and into the downtown easily. There are many restaurants nearby besides the hotel’s. The room was spacious and quiet. Great shower. Breakfast had good variety and taste. It did feel a little crowded together, I would prefer a bit more space between tables. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the hotel. We will keep St Sulpice in mind for future visits.

FAQs about hotels in Montreal

A Blend of the Urban and the Outdoors

Montreal is the second largest city in Canada and the entry point to Quebec province via Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport. Montreal truly has it all. Divided into East and West by Boulevard Saint-Laurent, there are several districts to the city, each offering a distinct atmosphere.

Downtown is best explored on foot, as you weave your way through skyscrapers and visit museums such as the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. In the winter you can steer clear of icy paths by heading underground to the passages of the Underground City, full of shops, movie theaters and food courts.

From there, the metro will conveniently take you outwards in any direction you might want to go, from the historic Old Montreal to the hip café and restaurant culture of the Quartier Latin-Le Village.

In summer, stay closer to the historic quarter and head outdoors in Parc Jean-Drapeau on the St. Lawrence River islands of Île Sainte-Helen and Île Notre-Dame. If the weather isn’t good enough for rowing, water-skiing and beaches then head to Montreal Casino.

Whether you’re visiting for festivals or fashion, gastronomy or culture, with over 190 hotels and B&Bs with Booking.com you’ll find your perfect home away from home.

Great vibrant city - with a lot to offer to people who are into arts, culture and fun --- a bit dangerous with a lot of homeless population - crazies and squeegee aggressive gangs around parks, subway stations and piazzas - cold in winter (so to visit it aim for May to Sept. weather)

This was my 1st trip to Montreal post pandemic and like most large cities the strain of the pandemic is evident in some closed shops and sadly, more homelessness. However, the city is alive and has everything to offer. I love the multiculturalism and the food and cultural flavours that go along with that.

A wonderful historic city, with lovely friendly people - but despoiled by graffiti everywhere - including on historic buildings. Generally dirty and litter-strewn. I was pleased to catch a glimpse of the new metro line opening soon which will really facilitate getting around the city.

In general it is a great hotel. For the price it is really well located in Montreal's Downtown with lots of tourits interets place to visit. Rooms are amazing with really confotable beds, pillows great, lots of space for clothes. Kitchen is great, TV only has Roku but it has a HDMI cable if you bring your own device it is good. Finally I'd say that washroom and in general all amenities are just renovated so it is really nice to stay there.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. It's only a short walk from the Old Town and Old Port, but also only a few steps from Downtown and the central station. The bus to the airport (#747) stops also very close by. The hotel is nice and clean, the room and bathroom are spacious, the bed is comfortable. I'd say the price-quality is good and a decent buffet breakfast is also included in the price. Friendly and helpful staff.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in downtown Montreal. The room was simple, very clean and had everything we needed. Yes, it is European style and maybe if you have a lot of luggage it could be a squeeze but it was just right for us as we travel light. Perfectly placed for lots of restaurants and bars, easy short walk to the Metro and to the old part of Montreal. Staff were very nice, efficient and helpful.

The location is great and close to the old port and downtown Montreal. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was good, especially the omelette station. The room was spacious and had a hot tub in it. The bed was comfortable. The room also had a kitchen, stove and fridge, which is convenient for someone who likes to cook their food. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a weekend stay in Montreal.
