My brothers live in Pointe Claire so I am a but biased, but...
My brothers live in Pointe Claire so I am a but biased, but the area is really nice, especially down by the water, it's an older established area, very safe. Pointe Claire is nice and close to Montreal and is a location that makes a good starting point for travel to other locations as it is located really close to both the Trans Canada Highway and Highway 20.

Pointe-Claire is an easy, nice place to go around. Traffic at Office times can be a bit heavy but nothing to worry. Good Eating Places around, all kind of Cuisines, Greek, Italian, Middle Eastern, Indian/Pakistani, Bars Steak Houses. Fairview Mall, a great place for shopping, Coffee, Snacks.
