FranceI stayed at the hotel for 3 nights with my dog. I luckily got upgraded room to a larger, direct access to the terrace.
It was very spacious, bed mattress was new and comfortable, all the facilities were renovated so the cleanliness was excellent.
The surrounding view was exceptionally beautiful, and there were plenty of walking courses.
Breakfast was made with local ingredients which is great,small but filling.
All the staff were friendly, especially the owner, Celine. She was very professional and friendly. Thank you for her warm hospitality.

RussiaI just returned from an unforgettable vacation at a hotel in the commune of Eshi, and I can't find the words to express our delight! This hotel is a true gem of Switzerland. From the very first moments of our stay, we were struck by the incredible views of the majestic mountains surrounding us on all sides, beautiful old church and Lake Thun. Every sunrise and sunset here is a spectacle that is impossible to forget!
The interiors of the hotel are beautifully designed, combining modernity and coziness. The cleanliness in the rooms is impeccable — everything was perfectly prepared for my arrival. I was pleasantly surprised that even such small details as dishwasher tablets were provided. This really shows how much they care about their guests.
The breakfasts are simply magnificent! Each morning began with enjoying delicious food and a cup of aromatic coffee on the terrace.
I can't help but mention the hotel staff — they are just wonderful! Always friendly, responsive, and ready to help in any situation. Their warm attitude made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you very much 🤍

AustraliaGorgeous location & views, very close to public transport which is also free with their local transport card, close to shops too. Spotless and clean, large bathroom and balcony which isn’t common in Europe. Very comfortable bed, bedding and towels. Good wifi. Great restaurant downstairs. No minibar in the rooms but there is a large communal fridge where we kept our wine etc. Easy check in/out process. All ammenities listed were included. From memory this hotel had the 6 sided/elongated diamond adapter with the three prongs but a few countries we visited used either so you should prepare to travel with both anyway, we were able to get one from the shops easily as we forgot to get both at the airport.

bathroom and room was very big clean and warm.
kitchen was will equipped. there were a dishwasher that you can use to wash your dishes.
bus stops at the hotel front door. it comes every hour.
-no elevator- but the reception man helped us with luggage . there was an elevator chair for the handicapped.
the breakfast was amazing! lots of choices bread milk fruits nuts cake.
free coffee corner (espresso milk and sugar) available all time!
the view was breathtaking!

The hotel is under new management and maintenance to upgrade the hotel are in full process but as a guest it did not bother me at all.
It will take probably some time but in the meantime the place is clean and well taken care off.
Breakfast was excellent, the staff is very help full and makes you feel at home. it has a great terrace with a Beautiful view over the valley.
Only point of attention is the parking space, there is a private parking garage with a only few reserved spaces for the hotel but the rest is shared with the neighbors. parking around the building is kind of a challenge
but a public parking is 100 meters away.
All in all I would certainly recommend the hotel and would re book the hotel in a heartbeat

Quiet, idyllic, mountainside area with beautiful views.
Quiet, idyllic, mountainside area with beautiful views. Easily accessed by car from the north, and by a train ferrying cars from Brig in the south to Kandersteg. Lots of hiking, biking, and other mountainside options with easy access to Interlaken and the surrounding tourist spots.

Quiet little town with excellent links to neighbouring larger towns. Many farms in the neighbourhood have a wee fridge containing their own cheese or smoked sausage etc. Simply pay at their honesty box and enjoy the flavours of the local countryside….ready made picnics for our walks.

What a perfect hotel! The rooms are spacious, comfortable and have lovely balconies overlooking the spectacular mountains in the area. Location is great, parking accesible and the hosts were super helpful. breakfast is nice and the breakfast room is cozy, with spectacular views.

The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning, the terrace is a place you can spend hours on. It is in a relatively remote location, so you do feel like you are in the mountains. The restaurant was also pleasant even if a bit expensive. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location with fantastic views from the balcony. Theo and Beatrice were the best hosts and so friendly and helpful. Loved the small family feel to the hotel, brilliant breakfasts and free parking were an added bonus.
