CanadaQuaint, clean, rustic with modern amenities. Roger is the best host I have ever had! I was there in the “off” season , Roger showed me to my room , gave me all the information of what was open in town etc. I was the only guest at the time and was still prepared a buffet breakfast!

GermanyI absolutely loved my overnight stay at Berggasthaus Eggberge. From the moment you step into the cable car up the moment, you’re literally being transported to a more serene, more peaceful and beautiful version of the world. The views are simply stunning, the staff and owners incredibly friendly. I also highly recommend Andy’s Brew, the owners very own beer. It’s delicious:) Wish I’d stayed a few more days to explore the beautiful surroundings.

The views are amazing, the staff is very welcoming and always helpful and the rooms are clean and cozy! Make sure you try the Flower Soup!! We never ate anything tastier than it. We hope to come back soon!

This town is mainly a residential area. We spent a lot of money getting trains to and from the town. Very few shops, we found it hard to find an open shop. Some local coffee shops. A burger king, lidl and aldi. Altdorf is only a few minutes up the road which was bigger and busier.
