The breakfast far exceeded my expectations, but the bed is much too narrow for two adults, and we're not overweight. The lighting by the bed is much, much too bright, but it's right by the lake, so you can take nice walks with the dog.

Breakfast was very good. Location is beautiful right on the river....outdoor terrace in nice weather. We did not book a room facing the river but our view looked on the side at another hotel (not in use) and was very quiet and peaceful. Bathroom was decent size....very pink! Good shower. Safe bike storage but not protected from weather.

What a wonderful discovery. Superb little hotel, beautifully maintained historic building, right on the Rhine, overlooking the little port. Remarkably tranquil area.
We arrived early enough to catch a boat to Konstanz.
