Alpine Resort and Large Glaciers
Grindelwald lies at more than 1000 metres above sea level, offering top-class ski slopes and an imposing Alpine landscape. It is located in the canton of Bern, in the Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Aletsch is the largest glacier to be found in the Alps.
Although evidence shows humans have been present in the region for thousands of years, the first long-lasting settlements date back to the Middle Age. For a long period, the destiny of the village was attached to the influence of the Interlaken Abbey, until the times of the Protestant Reformation.

Ubicació perfecte pels amants de la muntanya. Et trobes allotjat al cim amb vistes increíbles i poca gent. L’hotel està reformat amb un menjador acollidor. Habitació familiar ample per 4 pers. Personal molt agradable. Cuina excel-lent. Parc infantil. Moltes excursions des d’allà. A 1,30h caminat et trobes al punt base per pujar a la Jungfrau. Descompte 30% a la cadira Grindelwald-Maanlichen si t’hi allotges. Cal avisar data de tornada al comprar’l.

Casa de fusta molt sòlida i amb molt espai. Habitacions enormes, cuina molt equipada. Molt net, roba de llit i tovalloles en abundància. Bon aparcament gratuït fora la casa, i de dia es pot deixar el cotxe gratuïtament al pàrquing de l’Hotel Derby (cal deixar-los la clau a recepció) davant mateix estació tren Grindelwald. Propietaris Xalet súper amables. Vistes magnífiques. Amb una terrasseta per ús propi al jardí.

Vam estar dues famílies, tres habitacions en total. Hotel bonic, agradable i confortable. Aparcament propi. Situat a 15' del centre, caminant (forta pujada al tornar). Esmorzar complert.
