The room was gorgeous, new, clean and massive just as they said. Bed was big and comfy. Cable box in the room with Netflix.
Great location on the strip. Excellent value for money.

Nice city with an interesting historical centre and the coloured popular area of Getzemani; the Spanish city walls which protect the centre have a nice walk path "ronda. Nice restaurants and roof top terraces. the Castillo is a masterpiece to not miss and the subset from its top an amazing experience.

Beautiful historic old city centre, interesting museums, some great bars and cafes in shady squares. Fun to wander around the city walls with the sea on one side and new 'Dubai-like' tall buildings in the distance.

It's a mix of old & new & has it's own charm.
It's a mix of old & new & has it's own charm. A little on the touristy side. We stayed for three weeks but Cartagena could be seen comfortably in five to seven days. We didn't go to any of the islands or do any excursions. The humidity is very high. Dress appropriately. The weather changes rapidly, carry an umbrella. The vendors are everywhere & can be annoying at times, but people need to do what they need to do. Traffic is a problem at peak times. The people are so nice & always willing to help or answer questions. We always felt very safe. Next time we will venture to some of the more remote areas outside of the city.

The city is so beautiful in so many ways. There's a lot to see and do. There are some really good restaurants.
The only (important) drawback is the number of street vendors anywhere you go. In some places it's ok, in others it's not nice. But it's part of the experience.
If you're going to do some island hopping, compare prices and always ask confirmation of what is actually included in the package.
Little tip : try the chocolate beer at the Chocolate Museum

A vibrant town that parties til late. Lots of shops and restaurants. 3 days was the right amount of time. Prices can be high in shops and restaurants as it’s a popular cruise stop. Everyone is hustling selling stuff inc raps! But just be sensible and you should enjoy your time. Free walking tour was great and got to see more than just the old town with guide Legacy from n experience via guru walks.

The city and their people are wonderful.
The city and their people are wonderful. Very interesting historical places and places to have fun. Driving in the city is not as bad as in Medellin, motorcycles are crazy and it seems like they don’t respect the traffic regulations. Cartagena was different.

I had a great experience staying at the art hotel. The location is perfect like 1 minute walk from the heart of the old city getsemani and a bunch of nice restaurants and places to go out. I also liked the art experience of the hotel which has a gallery as part of the hotel. The roof top view is nice for a drink late in the afternoon. Also they were very helpful assisting me on questions of where to go as well as in organizing my trip to the islands.

The breakfast was good, there were two issues, the hotel did not honor the upgrade of the room accorind the to booking; the choice between double bed and large double bed; I choce large doble bed and they did not give What was in the reservation, I got just a double bed. The web page is misleading about the location when it says Centro Historico but not within the "Ciudad Amurallada"

This hotel is really central. You are in the heart of the action in the old city which is great. Staff were friendly. Good breakfast served between 7am and 10am. Really good air-con in room which was great. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Nice (albeit small) pool open between 9am and 9pm on roof. Would stay here again.
