Only warm hearts and sincere smiles give one the feeling of friendship and every where i went was fun. I stopped at a small restaurant and the waitress being very young and pretty spoke no English which is fine but when looking at the menu i ask if she listed among the items. Only joking in a friendly manor A man who spoke English ask what i was saying and i told him at 82 most don't expect such language. He heard what i ask and went into laughter and smiles telling all what i said. They took it the way i meant it not like i was trying to be rude. The tables around me and those on the sidewalks stopped and laughed and it set the pace for smiles.

Puerto Limon had the best tasting food I tried in all Costa Rica, l liked the fact that I could easily get public transportation to Cahuita Park to observe the wildlife and have the forest and beach all together.

Travelling though the country, exploring the best places to go for our travel channel Bakkerfeeling Adventures we make travel videos in each location. Puerto Limon is the cross point between the Caribbean coast and the rest of the country. It's a big city for Costa Rican standards and also has a very nice beach to visit. All is relatively close. Poluted and covid crazy police patrolling
Very practically minded people who were friendly and helpful, a lot Street people and did not find any art from the area or clothes was all kinda pound shops, a few very good fruit shops and street veg sellers, one had an amazing food area with yuka and rice n chicken etc, was fresh and hot, many were not.

Highlights:
Facilities and Room passable.
Beautiful restaurant directly across the road.
Very secure off road parking.
Breakfast was delicious.
We utilised this hotel to break up the long drive down to Puerto Viejo - however I would suggest stopping in a different area unless you specifically require this location. Note: If you do need to stop in this area, DEFINITELY DO pick this hotel (as it appeared the best in the area, and this appears to be confirmed by Booking.com ratings).

The hotel is really nice and clean.
It was maintained and the garden looked nice.
So nothing like in the earlier commands.
The hotel is a little remote so the best is to come by car. Save parking onside.
The beach could have better maintained but is nature that's taking over, not trash.
The pool was clean and really nice, pool towels are provided.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and comfortable. A/C and WIFI worked well. The staff was very professional and very helpful to us facilitating an early breakfast and arranging transport so we could make a tour we had booked. Also got a great dinner recommendation. Secure car parking is a big plus.
