Czech RepublicVery nice location at the main square, but the rooms were facing backwards to the castle, so it was rather quiet and we enjoyed the nice view. The rooms were very nice, the bed comfortable. The receptionist was very kind, allowing us to take our breakfast slightly later and to leave our luggage in the room on the last day.

This is a lovely town in its own right, though most people will use it as a gateway to the greater Šumava region and the great outdoors. Transit connections are surprisingly good thanks to direct trains from Prague and Munich, albeit these tend to be somewhat chronically delayed. The historical center is a gem, and would definitely be worth spending a day just exploring the narrow streets and old buildings.

Breakfast was great, the rooms were amazing, and Dormazlice was a beautiful little town, Well worth a visit if travelling through the area. Parked the motorbikes on the square outside and walked across the road for drinks and evening meal. Hotel was the perfect location.

The breakfast was very good and adequate and on the last morning the hotel opened breakfast early so we could have our breakfast before our very early departure before.
