We loved everything. Perfect location in the town, the room was spacious and clean, the staff really nice to talk to, they even took care of our toddler daughter so we could have some quiet time to enjoy breakfast. And the breakfast was delicious! Private parking was also very useful to have, check-in instructions were also clear. Really happy to have chosen this place, we will certainly return when we are in the area.

A lovely city, architecturally schizophrenic, but still picturesque at times and actually quite funny at times. They have a beautiful park, churches and a center. It's great that it's not flat and the pool is also ideal for an evening when it's not really nice. Nice city. :)

Havlickuv Brod is worth a visit, with a beautiful old market...

Havlickuv Brod is worth a visit, with a beautiful old market square and a few other interesting sights. It's only 40 km from the Nove Mesto ski resort. The city has a turbulent past. It's a shame that almost nothing is known about its German history. However, the city center is easily explored on foot.

A city with two faces.

A city with two faces. A historic square, a beautiful church, amazing parks and a wall of apartment buildings. A pleasant promenade around the river. Tried the restaurant at the U Zlatého lva hotel. The dishes were very delicious and interestingly served. The city center is about 20 minutes from the train station.

Havlíčkův Brod is a beautiful city with a rich history, living right in the historic center was amazing. I recommend visiting Havlíčkův dům, the tower, the city park and many monuments in other cities in the vicinity. I recommend the restaurant right in the hotel, they cook excellently. And most importantly, nice and helpful people everywhere :-)

We only spent a short time in Havlíčkův Brod, but we still enjoyed our stay there very much. We visited the interesting Karel Havlíček Borovský Museum, looked around the picturesque square and took a pleasant walk through the Park Budoucnosti. We stayed and ate at the Hotel U Zlatého Lva, where we were very satisfied. We would love to come back to this town someday.

You feel like an aristrocrat from previous centuries. The view from hotel room is fantastic. Furnitures are old but in same time cosy. The city is very pleasent. Better choice to stay then Kutna Hora.
