Krnov is a great destination for people who love nature.

Krnov is a great destination for people who love nature. Definitely the church and the lookout tower on Cvilín. The lookout tower on Ježník. It's nice to have a bike and ride along the river. I also liked the square and the streets around it.

We were only in town for the night, so we didn't see much of...

We were only in town for the night, so we didn't see much of it, but what little we did see was a very pleasant surprise. During a short walk to dinner, we came across a number of beautifully renovated buildings from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. It was not a problem to find a restaurant where we could eat well.

Krnov is a very nice town, with distinct (enriching)...

Krnov is a very nice town, with distinct (enriching) contrasts of architecture, available services - I needed a mobile phone service, which I easily found and they repaired the phone in a moment. Osoblaha has an exemplary maintained Jewish cemetery, a pleasant restaurant with a tasty menu, and the town of Albrechtice has a beautiful open church.

Krnov is a very pleasant town for relaxing and exploring...

Krnov is a very pleasant town for relaxing and exploring history and the surrounding nature. It offers churches, a synagogue, a museum, lookout towers, technical monuments, a church or town hall tower, art elements and fountains in the town and, most importantly, countless historical villas. I recommend the Hermes restaurant, the Malé Bistro Kafé café, and accommodation in the Dobré místo guesthouse.

The destination is outside the center in a quiet location.

The destination is outside the center in a quiet location. If you do not want to drive around the area, there are suitable conditions for walking and cycling. It is worth visiting the monastery and the Cvilín lookout tower. You can get there by car or public transport. Other sights in Krnov are also beautiful.

We were the only hotel guests . Staff spoke NO German or English. Upon arrival , receptionist wanted to see the other guest that was with me . It was my mother who was mobility challenged and she stayed in the car until I checked in. The receptionist came outside to the car with me to make sure my mother was with me . I am a 60yr old woman who was travelling with her 85yr old mother. The whole situation was very uncomfortable . Once we got in the room O locked the door !!! Didn’t feel very welcome .

The rooms were clean and comfortable with excellent bathrooms. The view of the sunset the night we stayed was spectacular, the hotel being out of town at the top of a hill.
