Excellent location in the center, you can walk everywhere. Parking is convenient near the building. Also, if the visitor wants to visit the theater or cinema, there will be a concert everywhere. For trips, I recommend the Castle in Hradec nad Moravicí and Raduň, as well as the Arboretum in Nový Dvůr.

It's a pretty Silesian town near Ostrava.
It's a pretty Silesian town near Ostrava. It's well-connected to other Czech cities. It boasts many attractive architectural structures (the university, theater, and town hall). A major advantage of getting around the city center is the proximity to all the major attractions. I also recommend the restaurants and cheap beer.

I would have stayed here longer, we were very satisfied. The restaurant in the hotel cooks excellently, I especially like their Kulajda. We get around in Opava on foot or by car. We come here to the medical facility, not for recreation.

It was my second stay at Hotel Algar, and each time I'm greeted with welcoming customer service, a clean and tidy room, and a pleasant atmosphere of the hotel. The owner and manager are super friendly and go out of their way to make sure we have the best experience. Very much recommended, 10/10!

Hotel and apartments located in the heart of the old city. Fast wifi, spacious rooms and comfortable bed. The apartment was fully equipped. Breakfast was very pleasant and reasonably varied, although for those with dietary exclusions there are not too many options.

I liked everything in this hotel in Opava - from a very professional communication of the staff prior and during my stay to a comfortable suite where everything was working as expected. I highly recommend this hotel for both tourists and business travellers.
