We really enjoyed our stay at Statek Poštolka. Our hosts gave us a truly warm welcome, and we felt like we were part of a family. The comfortable and well-decorated room had all the amenities we needed. The peaceful countryside setting, which was our initial choice, allowed us a very well relax. We also noticed the beautifully landscaped garden. The breakfasts and dinners prepared by Jana and Michal were delicious. We highly recommend this house.

The old market square, Langer's Villa and the Ottendorfer...

The old market square, Langer's Villa and the Ottendorfer house from the previous German time are very nice and have been renovated quite well during the last decades. The restaurant in Hotel Slavia is not so good, go to the bus station restaurant instead. In the evening, the market square was rather empty, no nice cafes, some drunk people and dog owners only. The houses around the city built after 1945 are quite ugly.

One aspect of Garni Hotel Svitavy that we did appreciate was its close proximity to the city center. This allowed us to easily explore the city's attractions and restaurants without having to travel far. Additionally, being just around the corner from the city made it easy to return to the hotel for a quick break or to drop off any purchases before continuing our exploration.
