BelgiumLovely hotel for our journey, the rooms were clean and spacious. We were lucky to have dinner outside under the trees, it is better to sit outside in summer. Parking can be a challenge sometimes due to the restaurant, but by the end of the evening there is always space in front of the hotel.

My daughter and I were underway to visit relatives in the Czech Republic. To interrupt the long journey, we booked the accommodation in Bernried, Birketäcker. However, the accommodation far exceeded our expectation. So many excellent furnished rooms, the house itself, the beautiful scenery in Bayerischen Wald!
We really regretted that we didn't have enough time to spend in this beautiful surrounding. Definitely next time!

We knew the hotel was very old and "rustic", and this was perfectly fine for us. The staff is small and they were very busy preparing for an event the next day, but they still made sure we were settled. Beer and water was available. The restaurant across the street was enjoyable. Breakfast was also great.

The breakfast package was amazing!!! We couldn’t eat at the hotel because we had to leave earlier so they made us an amazing, very generous packed lunch that we ate through the whole day! The staff were so nice and helpful!
