Unfortunately, when we arrived on Monday the owner said that the restaurant is closed on Mondays but she went out if her way to serve us a salad and a pasta dish that was out of this world, nothing was too much trouble. We are travelling again at Easter and will definitely stay there again

ItalyI felt like an honored guest at this hotel situated near the Franziskaner Kloster which was our main reason for going to the Thuringia/Hesse area. The hotel is spotlessly clean, with a very well appointed large room with a comfortable bed, fresh sheets and towels, clean and spacious shower room and study/writing area, and an in-house restaurant that serves really good food and wine. The breakfast buffet was superb, with Tamara taking care that guests are happy with their meals. The Zum Schwan Hotel building was built in 1690. It is near a bus stop and a grocery store which is very convenient. The area is quiet and tres jolie!
