A small town on a hill with a beautiful, historic old town. It's worth staying there for more than a few hours, wandering among the old buildings, sitting in a traditional German restaurant, and gazing at the beautiful surroundings from the church hill.

Herrenberg has a beautiful old town.
Herrenberg has a beautiful old town. It has good access to the motorway, a well-developed network of cycle paths, and, in my opinion, many ice cream parlors. There are plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy food or drinks. You can also arrive by train.

A quiet town, despite its many businesses. Ideally located for exploring the area, conveniently served by the Stuttgart S-Bahn. The historic center is very charming, with many half-timbered houses and a church overlooking the town.

Herrenberg has a beautiful medieval old town that can be explored on short or long walks. In the surrounding area, you can go hiking or visit the climbing park. It's wonderful for fans of half-timbered houses, and there's also a bell museum.

A lovely little town and definitely worth a visit.
A lovely little town and definitely worth a visit. My friends, whom I visited, confirmed the excellent cafes and restaurants. The surrounding area is perfect for hiking, and the superb S-Bahn network and the newly renovated train station area make it easy to visit the state capital, Stuttgart, or even take a day trip to Lake Constance.

The hotel is fine and has an excellent location. The problem was that when we entered the room all four windows were open. We closed three and a half. Soon we recognize what the reason for the open windows was. A very bad odor of sewerage developed to a horrible extend. It came out of the toilet or the open shower. The receptio showed no interest in that matter. Fortunately we stayed just one night.

Big clean rooms.
Possibility to buy a ticket for a training session in the new gym around the corner (100m from the hotel) -not super cheap (12 EUR), but available 7/7 24/24 if I understood correctly.
Room prices can fluctuate, but most of the time good value for the money.

everything! the hotel and restaurant staff are fantastic! great restaurant and fabulous food.
The head waiter is a credit to the hotel, giving great advice and making sure everything is correct!

A very cosy and comfortable little house.
Excellent location for hiking and sightseeing. Herrenberg is a lovely historic town and Tübingen and Stuttgart are also close by.
