Everything felt new and well-maintained, especially the bathroom with brand-new fixtures. The location is also excellent – it’s very close to Serengeti Park. We walked there through the forest in about 40 minutes, and it was a lovely experience.

From Hodenhagen station, it's almost an hour's walk through the countryside (there was no bus service during our stay). There are no bikes or skates for rent either. Going by car or taking a taxi is the best option.

A fantastic experience for the whole family!
A fantastic experience for the whole family! We'd love to come back. Unfortunately, the evening buffet is a bit pricey. I recommend going to the neighboring town of Bad Fallingbostel for a restaurant visit (the Italian restaurant La Trattoria is very tasty). Nevertheless, it's a beautiful park, a great safari experience, and also a fantastic amusement park. I recommend a stay of three days, so two nights.

The holiday home is amazing!
The holiday home is amazing! The house is beautifully and luxuriously furnished, from the whirlpool to the perfect beds. It lacks nothing; there's even a washing machine and dryer. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back. A huge thank you to the lovely owners!

Simply a fantastic park for families with children.
Simply a fantastic park for families with children. The zoo is absolutely beautiful, but only because we booked two tours. The quad bike tour and the ranger tour were both amazing, the staff were incredibly friendly, and we got to see and feed the giraffes and other animals up close. TOP!

The Jambolodge was clean and nicely furnished. We just felt we were lacking in seating options; a small sofa and an armchair were a bit insufficient for four people (unfortunately, we couldn't use the outdoor chairs due to heavy rain – they were too wet).

We didn't actually go into Hodenhagen itself, just to the train station and then to Serengeti Park. The town itself seems quite small. The area looks like it would be great for cycling. Beautiful scenery and flat terrain. The park is fantastic and well worth a visit.

Excellent location, the room was perfect to family with kids, with separate room for kids and play area. Kitchen was clean and super. Very near to Vogel park and serangatinpark. Very close to the railway station, Super markets and hotels are very near. The host was friendly and helpful.
