Leipzig is a small town, but extremely rich in history. EVERYONE was here: Leibnitz, Goethe, Max Muller, Wagner, Mendelssohn. The center is easily navigated on foot (for those without mobility issues), and there are fantastic sights to be seen and experiences to have. I'm not sure if it is tourists (I suspect it is) or locals, but there does not seem to be a culture of consideration for others on the pavements: no one seems to pay any attention or give way to others. I was visiting family and stayed in Plagwitz. It's a lovely area, very chilled and relaxing if you like hanging out.
