Then you step inside and it's just wow - from the front Desk who was so lovely (Luca if I remember well) to the fabulous room especially if you get a corner one with a view, to the gorgeous breakfast and the staff till checkout. You wouldn't find a better and most luxurious place to stay in Heidelberg where you can see all of the old town and be so close yet dipomatically away. Treat yourself and give yourself a grand present - because that's what I did with House of Hutter. Thankyou to everyone for making such a dream come true!

FranceOur room was spacious with character. A very nice terrasse on the second floor as well as a very pleasant patio on the ground floor, both with some tables and chairs to relax. The hotel is a very good renovation of an older building. Just at the beginning of the pedestrian, historical area. Very convenient parking (to be booked ahead). Would definitely stay again at the hotel if I come back to Heidelberg.

We stayed as an alternative to Heidelberg.
We stayed as an alternative to Heidelberg. We brought bikes with us and cycled to Heidelberg instead. There's a lovely cycle route via Dossenheim through the vineyards which is really pretty and traffic free. Although the hotel is at the very edge of the village and uphill it's not very steep and was easily manageable on the bikes.

Facilities were good for self-catering. Bakery right across the road. Apartment was comfortable. Two toilets and two bathrooms were appreciated for five adults! Staff was helpful. The streets are narrow and do not allow parking, but there is a free car park nearby for any length of stay. Heidelberg is very close (12km) but Schriesheim is worth exploring - we didn't manage to get to the castle that we could see from the windows!

The Staff were very helpful from the get go. Food was delicious and hearty with a good Breakfast choice and Evening menu. When staying anywhere, I quickly build a good rapport with Staff, this Hotel was no exception as they were very friendly, and helpful, even with my poorly spoken German.

Good choice of breakfast, plenty of space in the breakfast hall. The hotel was bright and welcoming. Plenty of parking. The garden outside was pretty and it was very quiet at night.
