AustriaThe dog-friendly lake in front of the hotel is amazing: clean and easy to reach. Most welcomed facility was the dog shower in the garage, our dogs loved it very much and the extra blankets and bowls for them in the room were the "cherry on top".
Also we loved that the restaurant had option for family traveling with pets. There is a special room where one can dine with their dogs without disturbing others.

Everything was clean and well-maintained. The location is also great, just a short walk from the lake and close to good restaurants. Breakfast was also delicious! Breakfast service was great, and so was the covered pool area.
It's in an amazing location, quiet and has all the comforts one could think of for a short-to-long stay. Owner/ Adolphine team are amazing people, and they were extremely accommodating with all our requests. We will surely be getting back again, around winter break next time.

The hotel's location is unique, offering views of the mountains and the lake. There are numerous excursion destinations in the immediate vicinity. You can hike in the valley or take the cable car up and hike there, or swim in the lake. The lawn is equipped with sun loungers and parasols. And if it happens to rain, the indoor pool and sauna are available. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

Lake Spitzingsee is wonderful and balm for the soul.
Lake Spitzingsee is wonderful and balm for the soul. However, it's best to visit during the week or outside of peak season if you want more peace and quiet. There are many hiking opportunities – from Valepp, mountain tours to the Rotwand, etc., via the Firstalmen alpine pastures, or simply around the lake to enjoy nature. There are also some very good restaurants.

Lake Spitzingsee and the surrounding hiking trails are fantastic. A real hidden gem. The problem arises when you want to eat at the restaurants around Lake Spitzingsee. Some restaurants close completely unexpectedly if the weather is too bad.

A wonderful spot; the hikes in the mountains were very scenic, with fantastic views. There were many options, including circular routes, all well-signposted and appealing. It's certainly busy during peak season, but perhaps not as crowded as Lake Schliersee. Lake Spitzingsee is a little idyll.

Accommodation surrounded by beautiful nature with the opportunity to combine the nature of the mountains, the local lake, accommodation, great cuisine in one place, and with the opportunity to also use nearby local places of interest such as Wendelstein and Breitenstein, the pilgrimage site of Birkenstein, the great Cafe Winkelstüberl with its unique desserts... and many others.

Spitzingsee and Schliersee (15 minutes away) are always worth a visit! A must for hikers and cyclists, and also for skiers in winter! Many hiking trails, cable cars, and great restaurants are located nearby.

Perfect location for hikes and exploring. Anything you can think of is available at breakfast. Spa and pool very relaxing and mainly quiet. Great food and drinks available at the Bar and restaurants. Hotel lawn has easy access to the lake. All staff very polite and helpful especially the receptionists.

Location is perfect!! Great view and also pet friendly hotel. There was a separate breakfast area for guest with pets. My dog enjoyed the place very much as there was a nice lakeside walking lane and enough place to play near the lake.

The hotel is very smartly presented but difficult to navigate. There are corridors in all directions. Some rooms have a lift but other rooms don’t. Very confusing layout.
