Nicely rich, good weighted duvet and high-quality mattresses meant we fell asleep quickly and had a refreshing rest. No wonder this pace is a hit with bicycle riders, the plaque said, a winner of "Bike and Bett" awards.We were chaperoned to our rooms, which were ultra clean, fresh and pleasant. I am so glad I chose this place. Breakfast was exactly what you needed: nice variety and topped up timely by a caring staff. No doubt I would return.

Wow! Our stay at this hotel truly exceeded all expectations. Having stayed at thousands of hotels across 50+ countries, this was our third visit to the Mosel Valley, and it was undoubtedly the most memorable. From the moment we arrived by car, we knew we were in for a special experience.
The warm welcome from the owner set the tone for our stay. We were promptly shown to our room, which was tastefully designed with carefully selected décor that created a perfect blend of modern comfort and preserved heritage. We stayed in Room 10, a lovely suite with both a living room and bedroom, offering a breathtaking view of the Mosel River. The room was impeccably clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully refreshed, maintaining a charming mix of old and new.
Parking was conveniently available just outside, free of charge. Breakfast, served from 9 to 10:30, was a delightful spread, offering everything we wanted—sandwiches, eggs, salmon, cheeses, hams, fresh fruit, and more. The staff was always available, easily reachable via a phone number in the reception, ensuring we felt well taken care of throughout our stay.
For dinner, we enjoyed a delicious meal—Wienerschnitzel and prawn pasta—that was of excellent quality. The wine, produced from the hotel’s own winery, complemented the meal perfectly, and we even had the option to taste some of their wines during our stay.
The location is simply stunning—nestled among the vineyards and within close proximity to some of the region’s finest winemakers. Whether you're coming from Luxembourg (just 2 hours away) or planning to explore further afield (4 hours to Champagne), this hotel makes for the ideal base to enjoy the beauty of the Mosel Valley.
In summary, everything about our stay was wonderful, and we highly recommend this gem for anyone visiting the region. We can’t wait to return!
