CanadaOur couples stay was terrific. The view at the pool and restaurant is magnificent - best on the entire beach. The room was super large and clean. We had a lovely few into the terrace. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was hit and miss, and it could be slow. However, there was lots of selection and we enjoyed many meals there morning and night. The hotel is located in a great spot, walking distance to the busy area on the beach but enough out of the way it’s not noisy for sleep. It was helpful to have a car to go to kite and surf beach.

TaiwanWhat a paradise! Natural Cabana is such a beautiful place with lots of plants that you feel like surrounded by nature but still can enjoy cozy room, delicious food and warm service. I spent 4 nights in Natural Cabana. They gave me the most beautiful one bed cabana I think which can see ocean but still keep some privacy. The décor inside is one of the most beautiful cabanas I have ever stayed at this price. It has a nice kitchen, a dressing room, and a spacious bathroom. I really like its white stone walls which give the room an earthy charm that connects you to the nature.
This was my first and only trip that I stayed at one place for a few days without planning any activities and it allowed me to enjoy fully what Natural Cabana offered. The food provided by both restaurants were fabulous. I tried 3 different breakfasts, one lunch and 2 dinners. The organic garden salad was so fresh with tasty dressing. The churrasco was very tender and well seasoned. Breakfast were all provided in big portion. I really like traditional breakfast with Dominican salami and Mangú, and also omelette. I took yoga classes in 3 mornings to start a day and it was so nice to be companied by sounds of ocean waves and singing of thrushes and bananaquits. I also tried spa once and I was not sure if it was my imagination but I felt some of the mosquito bites on my legs became smaller and not itchy next day. And yes the only problem was mosquitos so make sure you bring mosquito repellent or you can buy one from their shop.
I was so glad to find Natural Cabana and it was the only reason I chose to go to the northern beach because most of resorts in Dominican Republic are very modern and artificial which don’t fit my taste. Natural Cabana provided calm and peace that I was looking for to really clear my mind and recharge for my next life challenge. I really appreciated the staff’s effort to keep it a charming gateway to soothe a traveler’s heart and soul.

Cabarete has a very different atmosphere than other parts of Dominican Republic. It is a surfer town with a very relaxed energy. You find good restaurant options (fresh fresh cafe, gorditos fresh mex, la casita de papi, mojito bar, belgium bakery, vagamundo coffee, friend’s, ojo club), some shops, fun relaxed night life and there is a nice enough beach with bars, restaurants and kite and windsurf rentals/schools. It is quite a small town so staying here for a longer time could become boring if you don’t do day trips to other areas near by. I travel a lot to the DR and always enjoy staying 3-5 days in the area because of the nice restaurant and relaxed surfer vibes and the change to another part of the country to continue my vacation.Guest review byMikaelaFinland - 10.0

Lots of shops with a variety of goods along main street (busy so careful crossing). Bars & restaurents were excellent! Good entertainment, lots of expats in town and along the beach. Dominicans are friendly and helpful. As elsewhere, stay with the crowds if out at night. Stay on the beaten track. Compliments to the helpful and pleasant staff. Extra cudos to Senior Santos, Jennifer, the security team and maintenance crew that made me feel very welcome. It suited me for a quiet space to decompress and enjoy some reflection time. I would highly recommend this property for couples and solo travelers. Great for foreigners, it has a budget for everyone in terms of restaurants, accommodation, and things to do. It is about a 4-hour drive from Santo Domingo. The beaches are nice and the water is warm. I would highly recommend staying here.Guest review byDamien LynchPeru
