SlovakiaI can honestly say that all the positive reviews are legit. I stayed only for 3 days, but everything was top notch. The room was clean, with private bathroom, TV and AC.
The view from the terrace is outstanding and I also recommend getting breakfast, you will get 4-6 different items with a beverage of your choice.
The staff was also exceptional. Manager knows perfect English and the entirity of staff was accomodating and helpful.
In short, for the price, it's a steal. Highly recommended.

Resting Place of Pharaohs
Born of an ancient civilization, Cairo is a vast metropolis centered around the Nile. Its sheer scale can feel overwhelming (especially when flying over Cairo Airport), so plan ahead. An obvious starting point are the Giza Pyramids. Although the pharaohs are long gone, the grandeur of their burial pyramids, the Sphinx and Solar Boat are testament to their ambition.
The city’s Egyptian Museum houses a dazzling display of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including finds from Tutankhamen's tomb in Luxor. Around the corner is Tahrir, a huge square and focal point of the 2011 Egyptian Revolution.

If you need a break from cultural tours, take a Nile cruise by felucca, spot wildlife in Wadi Digla desert park or visit Egypt’s top theme parks: Dream Park and Magic Land, where you can tour Egyptian TV studios.
Before heading to your Cairo accommodations, sample the local cuisine – the falafel and fuul (bean paste) are delicious. Coffee is a staple and there are hundreds of shisha bars, while major Cairo hotels have bars serving alcohol.

One of the most amazing trips I did, besides an organised trip to Saqqara and Dhashur I organised everything myself.
Be prepared to hackle a bit if you use a taxi/uber.
Typically old town is very accessible by metro, followed by 20-30 minutes of walking. Traffic is dense, and traffic lights/crossings almost don't exist, so you have to be comfortable crossing 2-4 lanes of (typically rather slow) traffic. Use round abouts for that purpose.

Loved my stay in downtown Cairo much more than the Giza area. I felt completely save walking around downtown Cairo on my own - lots of friendly locals assisting you with crossing the busy streets. It can be noise at night but that is part of the charm of the area.

Be careful - no set prices and a high chance of getting swindled. Dishonesty seems to be a major pandemic here. Even if you order Uber with set prices, the driver demands more! It’s a huge problem here

It was a nice experience. However, they can improve hospitality toward tourists. The Airport procedure is cumbersome in addition to lack of regards for mothers with infants. The process of getting into their site attractions was also cumbersome, and added to hostile attendants.

Stay away from tourist traps, they will just shave you of your money. Instead, you can have great tea, shisha, coffe or whatsoever on the street with locals. Giza is perfect for this, once you get little bit away from Pyramids.

This hotel is quite literally perfect - the location is incredible, breakfast whilst looking at the pyramids is a real highlight. The staff are absolutely fantastic, the best customer service we had whilst we stayed in Egypt, nothing was too much trouble whether that was an early or late check in, helping us with a taxi to the airport. The beds were really comfy & bathroom clean & high pressured hot water! Don’t hesitate over booking here!

The room was spacious and good. The breakfast is one of the best I had in a touristic hotel in Egypt. Good selection and the manager was very helpful. The location is very close to airport and city sightseeing if that is what you are looking for. We just had 1 day before flying back so booked here to do go around Cairo. It is probably far away to watch the pyramids.

One of the best hostels I stayed at during my visit to Egypt, they arranged airport transfer from Cairo airport for me which was super helpful they also arranged a tour to Giza pyramids for a cheap price compared to other agencies, I definitely will be staying here again in the future.
