NetherlandsDelicious coffee! Best we've had all vacation. We arrived early, but were allowed to park our car, so we could hike the Ruta del Cares and check in afterwards. The location is perfect, right at the start of the trail. Also right next to the funicular to Bulnes. Room had a bath tub, which was nice to have a hot foot bath after hiking. Beds were comfortable. Personnel was friendly and helpful.

Bulnes is incredible. You step back in time.
Bulnes is incredible. You step back in time. Such a great place to start so many hikes and adventures in the Picos de Europa. Beautiful. We hiked in from Poncebos and we stayed at the top of the village at El Caleyon. Alberto and his staff were wonderful. The Fabada I had for dinner at the restaurant associated with El Caleyon was my favorite meal of our trip. Cannot say enough about being able to experience this town. The next morning we hiked up to the closest refuge, the views were incredible!
