We visited Fornells pre season, therefore very quiet and a lot of bars, restaurants and shops hadnt opened. everything was about to open up. my opinion is it is the perfect place for 'boaties'. you need a car to travel to beaches as there isnt a beach at Fornells. Although parking can be difficult in the port itself, there is plenty of parking available a short walk behind the village.
An upmarket quirky and pretty village. a varied selection of restaurants offering fish or the famous Lobster stew. plentyt of walks for enthusiasts.

Best place we visited on the island beautiful quiet port. several very good restaurants recommend whole sea bass or sea bream at xa xerca only 23 euros. No beach but bathing spot with steps into clear calm sea just next to apt.

It was really the end of the season so very quiet which was nice too. At least 2 restaurants and 1 snack were still open. One can see it is really a very small and quiet place where everything evolves around the water

Tirant Playa is 4 km from Fornells, a fact which is not made clear. It is at Platjes Fornells, another place. There is an excellent swimming pool and the apartments are very big . A car is essential . There are two wonderful restaurants next door to each other.

A quiet former fishing village that offers a host of water sports and activities and a nice selection of very good seafood restaurants. The atmosphere is relaxed and it's a great place to visit for padel boarding, kayaking, diving or renting a boat. There is a wide choice of trips, charters and ways to get in the water, or if you want a great seafood meal, there are several restaurants to choose from. Good during day or night,

We booked with Half Board which suited our plans perfectly, to have breakfast, drive around Menorca, to the beautiful beaches and getting to know the island and return for dinner and rest. The food at the hotel was excellent quality and plenty to choose from. The staff were very good and attentive, really great.
All in all, it was such a good everything.

Excellent family run hotel. Daniel and his family made us very welcome and went out of their way to look after us (and our bikes) - even making sure that we were wonderfully well fed when when we discovered that every restaurant and supermarket in Fornells was closed for season/evening. Exceptional customer service!

Great location, looking out across Platges de Fornells. The pool is very well maintained and the villa itself is very comfortable. The hosting company are also extremely helpful and responsive.
