SwitzerlandThe location was fantastic – you have plenty of great restaurants nearby as well as within the resort itself. It’s a perfect place to enjoy dinner and then take a nice evening walk, since the resort also has a kind of shopping area where you can spend time and relax. The hotel is directly by the sea, and you can see the ocean right from the property, which makes the view and atmosphere truly special. The resort itself feels like a palm tree oasis, with beautiful landscaping that gives you the impression of being in a tropical paradise. The large infinity pool was another highlight I really enjoyed.

Location: a quiet and very beautiful area, not far away from Maspalomas dunes. I mention that we hired a car for entire stay. Otherwise, location is a bit far away from the beach and city centre, but, no problem the hotel offers transports to the beach and to the city centre.
Rooms: modern rooms, very clean and very welcoming. Cleaning of room and bathroom was done everyday.
Meals: very good options for breakfast and dinner, for all tastes.
Swimming pool is kept clean and is heated - unfortunately we hadn't time to spent some time around the pool, maybe next time.

We loved to be 10 minutes drive away from the very touristic area of Maspalomas and instead enjoy the view of maspalomas dune from the mountains.
We enjoyed the drive to Pico de Nieves. The mountains are wonderful. Canyons and then pine trees. The view from Pico de Nieves and through the journey there is incredible.
The dunes deserve a visit as well as puerto de mogan. But the mountains are a paradise.

Very nice town for family holiday, you can find all you want, hotels, beaches, restaurants, markets, palms, there are interesting places close to town, like Palmitos Park, harbour in Puerto Rico, Poema del Mar in Las Palmas.
Only one problem is to find parking place near sea and avoid car towage by local police :-)

Lacy’s apartment made Maspalomas very good for us, otherwise it’s too busy and fabricated. It’s for mass Turism but attractive places though. The sunset and a good walk in dunes far from the mirador 🤩
The high quality of the massages at Hannam and wellness and again the high standard of Lacy’s apartment and the high standard of their service.
.Must go to eat fish at the fishermen’s cooperative in Arguineguín
.Visit puerto Mogán
And Fataga not too far and easy drive up in the mountain

I have not visited Maspalomas for about fifteen years,and...
I have not visited Maspalomas for about fifteen years,and headed for the Yumbo Centre,where most of the night life,bars and restaurants are.
It has really deteorated,and looks very tired.The bars and restaurants are still good,but the actual framework of the centre needs serious investment.Quite scruffy overall.

The area is lovely and just a stone's throw from El Faro, where all the best restaurants and shops are and also a stone's throw to Yumbo shopping centre and very entertaining night life. It's far enough away from both to be tranquil, but only a few euros in a taxi.

The whole resort of Maspalomas is very upmarket with lots of lovely restaurants, bars and shops. The standard of the food and service in the restaurants and bars is fantastic and very friendly. The beach backed by the sand dunes and nature reserve is beautiful and the sunsets over the lighthouse and sea front are exceptional, with many coming to watch in the evening. There is a bus station in town with regular local buses to other resorts, the market at Puerto de Mogan each Friday and the city of Las Palmas, which is definitely worth a visit. We stayed there for a week one year and it is a vibrant and historic city, with a wonderful cathedral, a thriving food scene, designer shops and a magnificent beach.

We spent the first night of our stay in Gran Canaria here and felt very well looked after and welcomed. Our room gave us a beautiful view of the lighthouse. The included dinner is amazing. We really didn't expect so many dishes of such good quality. The atmosphere during dinner is very festive, with a live show in the concert area. We’ve enjoyed every moment of our stay.

The view from the hotel is beautiful and the location is probably the best for Maspalomas.
The pool is very nice and the staff that are there are great, there just isn’t enough of them to operate the hotel to a 5 star level. They are great though.
