Seville is a city that lends itself perfectly to just wandering around and soaking up the atmosphere. And there is plenty of atmosphere to be soaked up.
People watching is very much a pastime here, and all over Seville restaurants teem with well-heeled locals enjoying a laidback coffee or cerveza under the shade of a citrus tree.
The city also has its fair share of must-see sights. Top of the list is Plaza de España whose monumental, semi-circular building is elaborately decorated with Andalusian tiles. Also typically Andalusian is the Seville Bull Ring, though what goes on inside may not be to everyone’s taste. The resting place of Christopher Columbus, UNESCO World Heritage-listed Seville Cathedral is an awe-inspiring structure whose vast vaults provide welcome relief from the heat of the day.
But it’s after dark that things really start to heat up. Streets pulse to the rhythm of flamenco, and with more bars per inhabitant than anywhere else in Europe, there’s no shortage of choice for nightlife.
Just on the outskirts of the city is Seville Airport. Public transport from here provides easy access to the array of Seville hotels, guest houses and apartments that Booking.com has to offer.

The city center is just amazing, full of history with its old and new buildings. We could walk all the way around it which was perfect for a proper discovery of the city.
We've seen in 3 days the Real Alcazar, Sevilla Cathedral, Plaza de Espana, centro andaluz de arte contemporaneo, museo de Bellas Artes, barrios Triana and Santa Cruz (and others), Setas de Sevilla, lots and lots of chuches, Casa de Pilatos, walked along the Canal.
Food is not expensive and good were we went (we stopped just by the look at it) but it's hard to find salad or vegetables.

Seville is a beutiful city with tons of things to see and explore. The architecture has a unique mix of Christian/Gothic and Muslim/Arabesques elements to it throughout the city. The city offerns wonderful places to eat, drink, relax, learn and discovery with ample of parks, bars, caffes, restuarants, museums and more. The only thing we wanted and couldn't find was a decent burger ;-)

Front door was not closing and I informed the manager but...
Front door was not closing and I informed the manager but instead of acknowledge the issue she made vague excuses. Apartment door was defected for 2 days we struggle open it and then the maid provided a key. Strong order of sewage in the apartment but after two days of keeping the all of the doors and windows the smell subdued and we had one day of no order. Exhaust fan inoperable, stove top controls faulty. Washer and dryer malufuctioned causing loss of time to enjoy the city.

Lovely city. Safe & clean. Prices in the shops were reasonable. We did a night river cruise which was very good. The city is very festive. The people were very nice and helpful. We traveled on the hop on/off bus with a 48 hour ticket. The Marie Luisa park is stunning. The river cruise is great particularly in the evening when all the festive lights were on.
The cathedral is stunning.
We mainly eat in restaurants in the Magdalena area although we drop into a few tapas bars when sightseeing. A lovely city would recommend a visit . The weather in December was lovely .

having so much in walking distance from the accommodation, really worth getting accommodation in the city, we were a short walk to the cathedral and everything else, great access to cafes bars restaurants etc made really good use of our time

It's such a great place to visit and people are so welcoming. So many places to see and the history is so interesting.
If you stay in the old town there is no need for transport.
Plenty of places to eat so there is no need to eat at the same place twice unless it was amazing.

We booked U-Sense Sevilla Centro (a) because it was so central and (b) because it was a small hotel and personal. It didn't disappoint. Staff were very professional and helpful. Breakfast was a very good continental including fresh pastries, bread, rolls ,cold meats and cheese. You can help yourself at the the superb coffee machine- 24 hours. The room was spotless and couldn't fault it. It was so easy to see everything in the Old Town. The hotel is literally 5 mins from Seville Cathedral.

This is a nice hotel in the heart of Seville Old Town. The main thoroughfare is only a 3-minute walk away and there are plenty of food and drink options in the area. The area felt very safe. The room was nice. Unlike most smaller hotels, there was always somebody at reception. The people at reception spoke good English, were very pleasant and helpful.

The hotel itself is beautiful and the room was amazing. The location is in the centre of the old town, the best part of Seville. The staff was very helpful and communicated with us generously. The king bed was a bit of a tight squeeze to get into but this is Europe. We especially enjoyed our courtyard, private pool and the main terrace.
