RomaniaEvery star is deserved. The location is good, across a charming park. We had the view to the park and road, but we heard nothing. The room was big and stylish. The main feature was the jacuzzi in the room, separated by a glass, which could be covered for privacy. The coffee was on the house. The bed was huge and comfortable. They provided even house shoes and wardrobe. I had the best sleep on my camino.

A Busy Port Town with a Charming and Laid Back City Centre

A truly wonderful place to visit, lot's of things to do from...
A truly wonderful place to visit, lot's of things to do from sitting at a cafe or bar watching the world go by, or just walking around the many old streets and coming across some fantastic buildings, churches or statues, you are spoilt for choice for eating due to the many restaurants serving up some superb dishes. There are a few beaches you can visit with beautiful golden sand, would definitely recommend Praia Azul, an outstanding beach with a beautiful promenade that has a few cafés & bars along the front.

Bus transport in this town we struggled with, so we ended up hiring a car.
Trains are very good.
We definitely stayed too long, there is not a lot to do here. The beaches we did get to see were lovely, wished we stayed near a beach rather than town.

Is perfect for a not too big city. Casco viejo is interesting. If you have time for walk a lot, one day at CIES island is perfect.

Vigo is very clean and open.
Vigo is very clean and open. City has good shopping and food. The area close to the water has a few streets that are used as urinals at night with a strong odor of urine. In other parts of the city it was very clean.

Vigo seems to me like an attractive port city. Beautiful views of the harbor. Pleasant walks through the narrow streets of the old town. I would recommend visiting the Cíes Islands and enjoying their charming beaches. People here are hospitable. I did miss breakfast a little — the breakfast culture here is different. However, the variety of juicy fruits was delightful.
Cons: I couldn’t manage to get a taxi, neither through the app nor WhatsApp — it kept showing that no taxis were available. Public transport is not very practical. You can reach your destination faster on foot, but the distances can be tiring.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was a nice bonus - especially the machine for fresh orange juice, which was a great touch.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed. The location is super convenient: just a 2-minute walk from Vigo Urzaiz station and about 15 minutes on foot from Guixar station.
Perfect for a short stay in the city-would definitely recommend!

Excellent location, close to the shopping center, bus station and Urzaiz train (10 minutes by foot). Vigo-Guixar train station is +/- 1.6km from the hotel. However, if you go through the shopping center, you can shorten the distance.
The hotel was spotless. The staff were fantastic. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of choices.

Great location at an excellent price for early June (about £42 per night). Polite, helpful staff and excellently located for the short stroll into town. Will definitely be revisiting Vigo and the hotel.
