Our check-in experience was great thanks to Diana, she made a very nice gesture by remembering my wife's birthday. She personally helped us in every situation throughout our stay. The half-hour spa pleasure provided us with a very enjoyable experience on the last day of our trip, it made us forget the -32 degree cold. Breakfast was served as an open buffet and especially the scrambled eggs were very delicious, there is more than enough variety to suit every taste. Thanks to the entire Arctic Light Hotel family for providing us with a very nice experience despite only staying for 1 day :)

BrazilThe best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Everything was simply perfect! The room was spacious, cozy, not to mention the beautiful design with the big windows facing fantastic frozen views. The breakfast was delicious, the staff is extremely friendly and you are right next to the Santa Klaus Village and surrounded by a beautiful natural area.
They even have shampoos and soap from Rituals! How amazing is that?

SingaporeWe had a wonderful 3 nights half board stay at the winter resort. The staff were very warm and exceptional. This is the perfect place for family with young children to early teens, with many activities to keep the kids occupied. The saunas were exceptional! Accomodation just opened this winter, so everything is in tip top condition. Room size is comfortable for a family of 4 and equipped with good amenities and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Would not hesitate to recommend this resort to folks heading to Rovaineimi.

This is the perfect place for family with young children to early teens, with many activities to keep the kids occupied. The saunas were exceptional! Accomodation just opened this winter, so everything is in tip top condition. Room size is comfortable for a family of 4 and equipped with good amenities and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Would not hesitate to recommend this resort to folks heading to Rovaineimi.

Our stay in Rovaniemi was magical and beautiful.
Our stay in Rovaniemi was magical and beautiful. We came to spend Christmas here and it lived up to everything, until it was time to leave.
Our flight got cancelled due to the weather. The airport was an absolute nightmare. We had to arrange last minute accomodation, which was a struggle and many people had to sleep at the airport.
We came back early the next day, and were stuck at the airport again the next day, all day. Lack of communication, organisation, facilities, they ran out of water.
Take this into consideration, I would never come back for this reason. Our stay was great, but we lost two days in London because we couldn't get out.

Santa Claus Village is the highlight with not much else...
Santa Claus Village is the highlight with not much else going on in town and some of the roads are rather bad.
Not enough buses going to Santa Claus Village.
The taxis are a total rip off - avoid them, if possible.
During peak season the hotels charge outrageous prices.
Santa Park is a rip off.

I liked all the activities we did in Rovaniemi.
I liked all the activities we did in Rovaniemi. It is so much fun for everyone. From ice karting to Santa village visit to snow man world visit to aurora chasing it was all so amazing ! Highly recommend it 👍

Rovaniemi really is a winter wonder land!
Rovaniemi really is a winter wonder land! So many amazing winter activities to enjoy. We had an amazing time Husky dog sleds, frozen waterfalls and reindeer rides. The snow was perfectly blanketed over everything and everywhere you look, lt looked like a post-card.
Should be on everyone's bucket list.

The town has everything you need; restaurants, shops, supermarkets etc The one thing we wished for was if they could lean A BIT more into Christmas; Given its the official home of Santa, a tad more decoration or Christmas events aroudn town can really help the magic

It's so lovely I wouldn't bother to go see santa that's the only thing I regret he called my boy a girl and she wondered how he didn't recognise her as the santa experiences in ireland ask for the names and a bit about the child 1st so this nearly made her think santa wasn't real I wouldn't see santa in lapland as stupid as that sounds they need to do a bit more!
Everything else was magic even as ypu step outside the airport and are greeted with frozen waterfalls and piles of snow its stunning

Having a full apartment during our stay in Rovaniemi was absolutely wonderful. Space to relax and cook! The sauna in the apartment was a great addition to. The apartment was in a wonderful location, just far enough out of town but still only a ten min drive to get to the city and other attractions in Rovaniemi. Loved being able to go across the road to sled, and we also spotted the northern lights from the observation tower which was a short walk up into the forest. Wonderful spot to explore all Lapland has to offer.

Came to do lapland experience, but very little snow. Good evening activities for guests (little ones). Friendly helpful staff, room ready early, on arrival as requested and everything we needed. Hotel was hot in just thermals (bring normal comfy clothes for evening). 2 restaurants for food in the evening reasonable for finland prices.

What a great place to stay when visiting Rovaniemi. Its behind the Santa Claus Village which is very touristy but the hotel feels private and quiet. The rooms were fantastic. With a big window facing north west, giving it a romantic touch. Our room came with a great bed and bathroom which had a private sauna.

Very Friendly Staff, Hotel is beautiful and clean. Breakfast is amazing and full of options. We also asked for an earlier check-in as we were arriving to Rovaniemi with the night train from Helsinki at 11am, and our room was ready when we reached the hotel at noon!
