Ski rental within the hotel, as well as ski depot.
For the family of four room could have been bit bigger, but staff tried their best to provide us with necessities.
Staff was extremely friendly (receptionists, houskeeping and the restaurant as well), very accommodating (went out of their way to help us during our packing before the departure).
Indoor pool with hot tubs was great for relaxation after the day on the slopes.
We used the restaurant every day during the breakfast buffet, as wrll as dinner one.
Food was of good quality and tasty, but variety could be maybe bit better.
Overall enjoyable experience, recommendation for those deciding on skiing within the polar circle.

PortugalMarjo and Jukka's place is outstanding. The wooden cottage is warm, cozy, and located in a wonderfully peaceful area. The kitchen is very well-equipped with all the utensils and tools you might need, making it easy to prepare meals without bringing anything extra. The cottage also features a relaxing sauna and a cozy fireplace, with firewood generously provided by the hosts. When we arrived, the house was super clean and everything was working. Additionally, there is an extensive set of cleaning supplies available to maintain the same level of cleanliness when leaving. While the house doesn’t have Wi-Fi, we found this to be a positive aspect, as it encouraged us to set our phones aside and enjoy quality time together. However, if you heavily depend on Wi-Fi, it’s something to keep in mind. The cottage also includes a drying rack, which is particularly useful for drying clothes after a full day of skiing. Speaking of skiing, this location is perfect for ski trips—it’s less than a 40-minute drive to Levi and only about 10 minutes to Ylläs. There’s convenient parking right in front of the house, and with the hosts' permission, it’s possible to charge electric or hybrid cars. Overall, our stay was fantastic, and we highly recommend this place. Marjo and Jukka are polite and very responsive hosts, always quick to answer any questions.

One of the calmest places I’ve been to!
One of the calmest places I’ve been to! It’s featuring beautiful landscape and very few people (we were outside of the high season). There are a lot of attractions such as snowmobiles, skiing slopes and cross-country skiing tracks - a lot of them! Also, there are a lot of options for activities such as dog sledges 😉 one of the most beautiful places I’ve been to, definitely recommend!

Perfect service at the airport from the car rental company; our car was already warmed (-25C outside when we arrived).
Ylläsjärvi is a beautiful place with lots of good cross country skiing tracks and possibility for downhill skiing as well. Worth visiting especially if one adores nature and quiet!

The overall experience of this place is excellent. The hotel itself, staff, services and offers inside the hotel. We were very satisfied with our holiday in this place. Various recreational opportunities. Looking forward to returning to Lapland and to this hotel.

Good place to spend a couple of days in Ylläs.
Good place to spend a couple of days in Ylläs. Decent breakfast served on mornings. There is a dedicated ski wax room which is very handy for X-country skiers.
A heater in the drying room was not functioning 5 days out of 6 (of our stay) and no attempts be personnel were done to fix it. It was rather annoying thing since it is actually a 'sport' hotel, where majority of guests are coming for either alpine or X-country skiing activities.
Rooms (for 4 persons) are small.

Very charming boutique Hotel. The breakfast was exceptional as was the kind staff that was very accommodating and helpful in planning activities. Anyone staying in the Ylläs area should certainly consider having dinner at the restaurant. It was exceptionally good and we ended up going twice in a row.

Park car (almost) in front of room.
Diner room is nice, breakfast is very good. Dinner is great but quite expensive IMHO.
