United StatesIf you want to go back and experience 18th and early 19th century living, this is the place. It was charming, treated like a king. The gardens around the castle are exceptional, the staff was friendly and very attentive. The breakfast was excellent, their home made yogurt a delight. Room was above expectations with a very comfortable bed. Just want to point out, there's no TV in room, which in reality we did not need. It's a place for you to relax after a long day of sight seeing. Absolutely wonderful!

Wow! The gates open and you enter a world of luxury and classic beauty. Beautiful gardens and the sounds of cooing or ring-neck doves. surround you.
The decor in the bedrooms especially is spectacular, with textile panel walls and canopy beds. The staff's extra effort laundering on-site and ironing all the linens by hand makes them amazingly fresh --crisp and soft at the same time! Better than the 4 Seasons!
