Chef-Proprietor Albert is a brilliant host and his staff are excellent aides-de-camp. Extremely reasonably priced - a small but perfectly comfortable room and really excellent dinner and breakfast - especially the Spanish bacon!!

Thierry is a first class cook and his Table d’hôte is not to be missed. He served us a quite exceptional dinner and a superb breakfast. We will be back soon!!

Font Romeu was made as a sporting resort in the 1920s.
Font Romeu was made as a sporting resort in the 1920s.
Odeillo further down the hill was the original village.
Because of the benefits of the healthy air, originally Font Romeu was used as a place to treat patients with breathing problems. That no longer is the case.
Now it is a ski resort and also a summer destination.
The views are spectacular and the skiing is augmented by many snow cannons.There are also many rambling routes.
There are restaurants and shops but these are quite seasonal and often closed in low season.
Font Romeu is also a good base from which to visit local towns and villages, also lakes and even the sea, either in France or, slightly further afield in Northern Spain.

A very nice and comfortable hotel. Our room was spacious and clean, people working here were really nice and we very much enjoyed our stay. Maybe the only minus point was insulation between the rooms, our neighbors put on tv one morning quite early and loud, and that was unpleasant, but not necessarily to do with the hotel.

That's nice hotel near the mountains. It's a hotel for go to make mountain hikes or routes in btt or snow sports. But not for stay in there. It has pool and it's OK
