He advised us to reschedule our trip to île-de-Bréhat in view of the weather forecast. Our room on the first floor was clean and spacious - this was the cleanest accommodation during our trip in Bretagne by far. We loved the breakfast: 🍳, the home made cake & crêpes and the fruits. It was great to enjoy the garden. We would return any time with pleasure.

Caroline was a perfect host, who greeted us on arrival with a very warm welcome, attended to all our requests and made a reservation our our behalf at a nearby restaurant - La Balthazar, where we enjoyed a superb dinner. A friendly town, marvellous local produce, excellent market on Thursday and dining was excellent . An easy relaxing picturesque location. My third visit for the Dartmouth Paimpol Cross Channel Regatta . The marina staff are exceptional and the Hotel Goelo was a good choice to relax in after busy days and long late dinners. Recommend L'Escale , Terre Nuevos and Le Criee to eat at - the standard of service at each was superb and the food delicious.

We were very impressed with Paimpol & the surrounding area, both coastal & inland, but in full season it could be very difficult to get around & park.
There are plenty of shops & restaurants but we only ate home-cooked food.
The ruined Abbey de Beauport is well worth a visit, with lovely coastal walking areas in and around the grounds. It also had excellent parking & a cafe.
We would recommend a stay in Paimpol but not in the full holiday season.

Paimpol is a large town compared with many of its neighbours. There are plenty of shops and restaurants but we did not find any outstandingly good. It came to life on the Tuesday with a very large market which occupies several streets and squares in the town. The bars were full and the atmosphere was lively.

Nice little town, lots of interesting shops and restaurants, everything very close by, small independent shops and supermarkets, hardware stores garages and the like, touristy but obviously popular with locals as well.

Sylvie and Alain are excellent hosts. Upon arrival Alain provided us with information about the main sights in the Paimpol area. He advised us to reschedule our trip to île-de-Bréhat in view of the weather forecast. Our room on the first floor was clean and spacious - this was the cleanest accommodation during our trip in Bretagne by far. We loved the breakfast: 🍳, the home made cake & crêpes and the fruits. It was great to enjoy the garden. We would return any time with pleasure.

Very warm atmosphere inside the hotel. The owners tended to all your needs.
Be sure to visit their restaurant and taste their magret de canard. It was definitely the best I have ever had. We heartily enjoyed both the late-evening dinner and the breakfast buffet the morning after.

Top of shopping street so very handy to walk to restaurants and port, easy public parking in oct (felt car was secure). Very nice/smart renovation on 2nd floor.

Portside hotel in a lovely old French port town. Staff were nice. Very close to everything uncluding really good restaurants, the station and bakeries.
