Heathrow, a Heath and Stately Homes
Set in the nearest London Borough to Heathrow Airport, Hounslow hotels and guest houses on Booking.com are understandably a popular choice for those flying in and out of the UK’s busiest airport. However, there are more reasons to stay here than just this.
Hounslow Heath has a nature reserve and golf course, and to the north in the Osterley suburb is the National Trust-operated Osterley Park with its stately home and gardens. South-east of here is Syon House, while Hanworth Park House is in the Feltham district, home to just some of the hotels near Heathrow Terminal 4. Also close by is the wildlife haven that is Bedfont Lakes Country Park.
There are also 2 smaller parks in the Cranford district, near the Bath Road which passes the road leading to Heathrow Terminals 1-3. Most hotels near Heathrow on this road are served by an airport shuttle which offers transfers to all 5 terminals. Located at the opposite end of the airport to Hounslow, Terminal 5 is the newest and most state of the art, and has its own station on the London Underground.
All Heathrow Airport stations are on the Piccadilly Line and offer fast connections to the 3 Tube stations in Hounslow itself, and beyond to central London.

very close to the airport car returns on Perimeter Road. It was half a mile along Bath Road then a left turn at Nene Road into Perimeter Road to Europcar returns depot. At 5a.m. it was plain sailing. The hotel has a restaurant and coffee bar, and the beds were comfy so we had a lovely sleep and rest. This is the second time I have stayed there and if I visit London again ,will be using there again.

Hounslow is a lively and diverse area with plenty to explore. My favorite spots were Osterley Park and House for its peaceful greenery and Hounslow High Street for shopping and local life. Getting around is easy thanks to the Piccadilly Line and regular buses connecting to Heathrow and Central London. I enjoyed delicious meals at Taste of Lahore, Twentynine Restaurant & Bar, and several vibrant street food stalls offering kebabs, samosas, and fresh curries. For quick bites and essentials, Quality Foods supermarket was a great find, offering authentic ingredients and ready-made meals from around the world. Hounslow is ideal for solo travelers, with friendly locals, great food options, and convenient access to nearby attractions like Richmond and Kew Gardens

To start with, it was not easy to locate the key.
To start with, it was not easy to locate the key. It took 2 hours to locate the key. The concierge has no clue about the key location and he clearly mentioned that he is not willing to help. I reached booking.com and I was told that the property manager will give a call and never got a call. After 2 hours, by going around the building I located the key box. Next bad experience was about the facility.
I booked it for 4 people. It was my spouse, daughter and 80-year-old father. The property said it had 1 queen cot and 2 sofa beds as per picture. The sofa was good even enough for 2 people to sit and it was not a bed. Booking.com said, they have reviewed the property and have secured the infrastructure. After sending the website photo vs property photo, Booking.com was silent about it were not willing to comment.
Booking.com mentioned that the property had 2 air bed. Beds was found but no pump to fill the air. Maybe they were expecting the customer to blow my mouth. I finally ended up shifting my daughter and father to a new hotel.
Internet is mess and never worked up to speed. Forget about connecting to TV, it did not work for a normal mobile video call.
Next problem is the washing machine, it could not drain the water and finally ended up washing clothes in laundry.
All faulty equipment. I was bored of calling booking.com since wait time for the call was about 20 minutes for each call.
This property is a cheat. They are not worth for the money. Till the end, no property manager heard us. The entire trip was spoiled and it upset us. Booking.com as broker not bothered about the customers. As long as the commission is received, they are fine.
I was also charged 500GBP advance which took 21 days to return after multiple follow-ups.
There are multiple hotels around Hounslow which are cheaper and with good housekeeping. This property is not worth for the money. Request customers not to get cheated.

Food is great and cheap. Hotels are reasonably priced. Plenty of options to pick up your stay. The Piccadilly line goes straight to central, and even if you drive, it is 30-40 minutes to reach central London. Heathrow is a 15-20 minute drive away.

We stayed in Hounslow area for one primary reason, our hotel...
We stayed in Hounslow area for one primary reason, our hotel was close to the Hounslow Central Tube Station which was close to Heathrow airport for our departing flight and we could take a short tube ride to The Kew Gardens the day before we left. The area of Hounslow Central has a significant immigrate population. It was quiet and safe enough but was different than much of England.

Location for LHR was great, accommodation close to station and shops (only 3 train stops to Heathrow). Rooms were neat and clean and perfect for a short stay. The manager and staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Lots of pluses.
Near the M4 so no congestion charge and free parking, 3.30 hours from Plymouth.
5 minutes walk from Hounslow West tube on the Piccaddily Line which is 35 minutes to Hyde Park Corner.
We were at a concert on a Friday and theatre on the Saturday and on both nights the Piccadily line runs 24 hours.
Super friendly staff, free continental breakfast.
The room was small but clean and they changed our towels daily....and for £85 a night that's all you can ask for.
For future trips to London it's well worth considering.

I liked everything in this hotel. The rooms were gorgeous and very comfortable. I was on the sixth floor and had an amazing view from my room’s French windows. Location-wise, it’s close to Heathrow but connects very well with the rest of the country, wherever one wishes to travel. I could easily access the tube for my trips into London as well as those to other cities. The closest tube station is Hounslow Central.
Their restaurant Hot Plate serves very good Indian food. All said, it was a great stay!

We went to see the Christmas lights in London. This Hotel is on Bath Road close to Heathrow airport.
HOUNSLOW WEST Underground is 5 min ride from this hotel from where we caught PICADILLY LINE into central London !! Very convenient hotel , friendly staff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Very centrally located in Hounslow, near the shopping street (Primark, H&M, lots of restaurants, etc.). Comfortable bed. Room is very, very basic - but that's to be expected from an Ibis Budget.
