The host, Dimos, is friendly, professional and a really great person.
The room was extra big and really clean.

A small vibrant fishing village which offers plenty of restaurants and accommodations. The beach is clean but a little small. Water is clean with access via a short walk from the village centre.
It is quite hilly and may present problems for certain visitors.
Evenings are very lively with many restaurants and some shops.
It is centrally placed for journeys to others beaches and destinations such as Matala, Spili and so on.

Agia Galini is a cute little town in the south of Crete, which is always more pleasant than the norih with it's overflowing tourists, traffic jams and windy weather in September. And there are plenty of things to explore: nice beaches, good hiking, old monasteries, remains of ancient towns - lots of history ... but the most enjoyable are the good Greek food, very kind people, peace and wonderful sunsets.

Being a return visitor to Agia Galini , it stole my heart many years ago. The town is vibrant and friendly locals...helps making the place even better. It was hidden jem years ago ...and still is nice to visit!

Great Cretan village -- has everything you need: pharmacy, bakeries, butcher, supermarket, many tavernas, great stores with Cretan art, pottery, olive wood, olive oil, spices, and so on. You can also get airport transfers and take buses to other parts of the island!

We ate at a different restaurant eveery night and most lunchtimes. Supermarkets /stores were well stocked and we prepared si8mple lunches at the villa most days. We were concerned that the first week in May could be a weather risk, but apart from a first day oif light rain and wind the remainder of the week was sunny wit light clouds and 21 - 26 Deg C.

A charming and bustling little town with plenty of restaurants for choice and lots of shops. Some are selling the usual tourist merchandise, but there are a few quality independent shops.
We were struck by the friendliness of staff in restaurants and shops.
There are boat trips starting from the harbour and the place is well situated to explore beaches and the mountainous 'hinterland'.

Nice little room with good equipment. Service was very nice and kind. The hotel was near the harbour where the center of the town was located. We got a parking space directly in front of the hotel. Price for the room was unbeatable. Very nice little 2-star hotel with very good location. The little garden and inner courtyard was also very charming. We fully remommend the hotel for a short trip to the south of crete :)

We had an amazing stay thank to Maria who made everything perfect. The room was very spacious, had a lot of light during the day, and extremely clean. Maria took care of cleaning everyday, changed the towels as often as at a 5* hotel.
The location is perfect, close to all the bars and restaurants, beach, and supermarket.
We will recommend this place and definitely will come back.

I searched a lot before choosing this hotel in Crete for our vacation and I think I made the best choice. Our stay was amazing and I want to thank Marilena and Ioannis for their hospitality. The breakfast prepared by Ioannis was very tasty with many good dishes, especially his omelet with two (three?) eggs.
Our thanks to the Kasotaki family for their hospitality.

Modern hotel, very well maintained, nice pool, good breakfast, first building on the right hand in Agia Galini so it takes about 5 minutes to the center and beach (using the staircase). Supermarkets nearby
