Free breakfast and with advanced notice, they accomodated my husband's gluten allergy. They even had gluten-free biscuits for him. Lots of breakfast choices (greek yogurt, eggs, meats, fruit, cereal, juice, coffee, teas and more). The view from the shared balcony was beautiful bigger than anticipated. Very close to the port town, just a few minutes walk to numerous restaurants and shopping. I deeply regretted that we were only there for 1 night. It was excellent. Loved the 4 pillows on the bed and plug-ins on both sides of the bed so we could each charge our phones. We also appreciated the 1L complimentary water in the in-room fridge. Staff were so welcoming and accommodating. Very large parking area for our rental car. I am puzzled as to why it is only rated 2 stars. It was cleaner and in better condition than the 4 star hotel we rented in Santorini! It should definitely be 3 stars at the very least!

As we came here we felt that it is a very good place. Maria showed us the rooms that were clean and beautiful with all the facilities that we needed. Then we went down to the beach that is just right down and since then everything went perfect. drinks, perfect food, fast and amazing service from the whole team. We liked the location, only 2 minutes from the promenade and a beach. The hotel has parking, which is important since it is hard to drive through through the narrow streets if you are situated behind the harbour or the promenade. We liked the nice balcony, too. The hosts were pleasant and helpful, we had a problem with a shower around 10 pm, and help was there in 5 minutes!

One of the most amazing places.

One of the most amazing places. Beaches are wide and long with lot of place for finding a secluded corner just for yourself, sea is warm and beautiful with alluring colours and views are breathtaking. We loved Kato Nissi beach and Lefki and enjoyed snorkelling over ancient Pavlipetra city. The village of Elafonisos is vivid with lot of tavernas and places for enjoyable evenings. Perfect holiday spot. Anywhere you sit you’ll get good food and good service. Moving around the island is easy, but you’ll need a car. Getting to Elafonisos is also easy with ferries going from Pounta every 30 minutes with costs of 16 EUR for 2 adults and a vehicle.

Ideal place for a short (3-4 days) holiday. Beautiful beaches (although when it is windy there are waves), and lots of tavernas and fish restaurants in the port. To get there is a 4.5 hours drive from Athens to Pounta, and a 15 mins ferry ride from Pounta to Elafonisos with several ferries crossing every 30 mins. Small Simos beach is the best, and you can find very spaceous umbrellas but pricey (50-60 euros for 3 persons)

Basically an Island characterised only by it's beach Simos . Some fine dining in the city and being a nature sancturay Natura 2000 you can get to see the gorgeous Karetta stroling in the sea of the port

We just returned from another wonderful 9-day trip to Elafonisos — a place we visit every year and never get tired of. The island remains one of Greece’s true hidden gems, with incredible beaches like Simos and Panagia, crystal-clear waters, and a peaceful, authentic atmosphere. We always make a point to visit outside the peak months of July and August, when the island is quieter and even more enjoyable. Everything is within easy reach — great tavernas, cafés, and small shops — and the pace of life is exactly what we need to unwind. Even after so many visits, Elafonisos continues to be our go-to destination for a relaxing and refreshing escape.

Elafonisos is a quaint island with a nice selectin of shops, local artists, great restaurants, and several beautiful beaches. We spent most of our two full days at Simi Beach during the day and in the little town in the morning and evening, but I wish we had stayed two more days and spent more time at the other beaches. I would have also liked to drive around the entire island to see it, which w will definitely do next time. Definitely worth seeing!

A very chill island with crystal clear waters! Lovely for families and all. Our favourite beach is Agia Panaia. Having a car on the island was great to travel out to Simos, great water activities there. We found most eateries lovely.

The property is amazing and super clean. The host is super lovely and she is the most amazing person I ever met while travelling in Greece. The view and the island is amazing and we also got tips from the host. Anything that we needed she was there to help. Do not worry if you don’t speak Greek as she speaks English super and she will always give you good tips. Will definitely come back and stay here as I was super sad to only have booked it for one day. Thank you so much for the hospitality!❤️

One of the very few times I can say that everything was perfect. We arrived a bit late and the hostess was waiting us with a refreshing juice. Our apartment was cleaned daily and we always found some surprises waiting us when we returned, a chocolate, fresh eggs, there was always something. I would highly recommend Koula's place for a family as it was very close (walking distance) from the center, while it was easy to access the famous beaches by car.

Great location opposite the beach, not the best beach you have to go to Simos beach for that, but great for early morning swim and watch the sunset. The owner was lovely, she met us at the apartment. There was coffee, marmalade, honey, biscuits, toast, olives, water and juice in the fridge, a lovely touch, clean sheets and towels every other day. I Recommend staying at Gialos highly.

Kalomoira, the owner was lovely. The room was spacious with everything you could possible need for a great stay. The apartment was clean, quiet and comfortable and perfectly located on the edge of town for local restaurants and Simon and Panagia beaches.
