Hop on hop off to kato koufonisia and other beaches of the islands for 10 euro per day. Friendly people all around. Fresh fish of top quality and selection We rented a scooter that has proven to be a necessity. There are also electrical assisted bikes. Food prices at taverns in general are acceptable. I thought it would be quieter but it appears that Koufonisia has become more popular. We had to go to Kato Koufonisia almost everyday of our stay just to have a quiet and relaxing beach time. The hike was easy, a bit more tiring from the heat but it's worth it.

Beautiful island and sea is just amazing!i stayed 3 nights whilst travelling the Cyclades. I recommend 3-6 nights here unless you're not too bothered about shopping or a lively destination. This is perfect for a short stay if a solo traveller

Lovely island for people who like walking, beaches and a relaxed pace of life without planning much. The island gets busy in mid-July to end of August so I wouldn't choose to go then. I think 3-5 days are best, many people also visit on a day trip.Vanessa - Real GreekGreece - 10Scored 10
Very small island. You can walk it.
Very small island. You can walk it. Furthest beach is 1 hour and a half scenic walk along the coast passing many other beaches. The port is the only town on the island. It has a nice ‘chora’ with surprisingly many restaurants and shops. Town is very clean with beautifully paved roads. Very much an upmarket feel to it, but no upmarket attitude, which is a plus. Quiet place. Not for party animals.

Our host was extremely helpful, kind and welcoming to the island. The villa has an amazing view of the sea and it is 10 minutes from Pori beach. Additionally, the villa has a big veranda with sea view which is ideal for a group of friends or family for breakfast, dinner or a late drink. Koufonisia is an excellent choice for summer holidays and the villas make the trip even more enjoyable.

It’s far enough away from the bustling main village and beaches, to ensure a relaxing vacation, but close enough, for a healthy walk to some magnificent turquoise beaches, and the bustling Chora with its many restaurants, boutiques and bars. The location is perfect with everything in walking distance (beach, harbour, taverns etc.). The hotel has a parking. They also have a shuttle bus for guests without car (in fact you don't need a car on Kouphonisi). Beatiful view towards Keros island from the pool area. Furniture was new or renewed. Sofia runs this place with so much positive energy, attention to detail and hospitality. She'd show up with delicious food surprises, for example home made spinach pie, desserts, ice cream and fruit bowls. Overall service and cleanliness was amazing and the location was ideal, close to restaurants and beaches while maintaining a feeling of privacy and escape. Highly recommended!

Location is good. 10 minutes walking distance to the town center. 3 minutes walking to the nearest taverns. Pet friendly. Free parking at the property. Big beds. Good space in bathroom. Good introduction to the island by the manager. He also gave us an island map. He also brought us smaller pillows since those in the room were too high. Hotel offers transport from the harbour but we didn't need it.

Bed comfortable - room has a fridge, kettle, cups and cutlery - and is kept spotlessly clean. In addition there is a lovely small balcony with seats and table - and a fantastic view. To Kyma rooms are just a few minutes walking distance from where ferries arrive and leave. Definitely my favourite accommodation on this island.

The rooms were super clean and very well equipped, making it comfortable also for longer stays. When we come back to Koufonisia, we will definitely be looking to stay in Louros rooms again!
