Nearby were everything that we may need, ie pharmacy, supermarkets, restaurants etc. If you have a car there is a parking in 3 mins walk distance. The staff was very friendly and helpfull, they advise us every day for what is worth visitting and were its expensive or not. They gave us also umbrellas for the beach without any charge.

I October the place was quiet but weather was sunny and warm. Good food , highly recommend Anti Varo restaurant. Cocktails go to Cubana bar & get a zombie . Had a great day on boat trip with Epitonia . Good holiday & airport nearby.

Really gorgeous, quite substantial town with lots of very nice shops and restaurants. There is a beach just out of town which I didn’t visit so can’t comment on that. We went on the Odysseus boat trip which was excellent. This is a great place if you like boats. A hire car is needed if you want to get to the excellent beaches to the west and south. Driving on the roads is not too difficult but ask for advice from hire car people. We enjoyed eating at Margarita & Nissi’s

Family own and operated, very attentive and accommodating to your needs. The place was very clean inside and out and had excellent parking in front of the hotel, a short walk to town, very quiet for restful nights and a beautiful infinity pool, however I wish it was open past 7 PM in the summer.. if you stay there, you will enjoy all the modern conveniences in this new build…

It’s a nice place to visit, but to come back a second time, you probably need to be a kite or windsurfing enthusiast - there’s a lot of wind almost all the time. The surfing places seemed quite busy, though.
If you're traveling with kids, be aware that sandy, shallow beaches are rare; most have stones and aren't ideal for easy water access. The few nice beaches that do exist are often difficult to reach, either by car or on foot, and all of them charge for umbrellas and chairs.
Touristic cruises around the nearby islands can be a fun activity. However, traffic can be a real challenge - narrow streets, aggressive car and scooter drivers, and limited parking in the cities make getting around stressful.

Lefkada is a gorgeous island with amazing beaches.
Lefkada is a gorgeous island with amazing beaches. Egremni and Kathisma are a dream! Apart from the famous beaches, it is also worth seeing other, more remore shores. Drive around the island and see all of it. My hotel was in Ag.ioannis in San Giovanni Beach Resort and Suites.

Main street and square lively in the evenings.
Lots of choices of food and drinks. We loved the Lighthouse down a side street and all the places in the main square were good.
Indigo was excellent for breakfast and lovely staff.
Everyone who we dealt with was nice and helpful and friendly. Pure Greek hospitality.

Everything was perfect, we stayed in the Panoramic Suite, perfect room if you are coming with a child. Definitely recommend and would come back.

I strongly recommend the Aleas Villas! Fantastic house with a lovely view towards Lefkada town and the sea. Fantastic hosts! They care about everything you need. You really feel like in home. Wonderful garden made with a lot of love and labour.
