PortugalIt was a perfect relaxing stay. The hotel is nicely located in front of the Sea and has a great pool. Breakfast is lovely with fresh fruit. The room was quite big with a nice pool and garden view. By the way, the gardens were perfectly kept.
The Staff was very helpful making my stay there very enjoyable, specially Maria (Receptionist) who helped me with several other bookings and traveling arrangements across Crete (renting a car for example).
I would love to go back.

I choose for the second time, Platanias, like a point to explore Chania - to visit Phalasarna beach, Limani Stephani, old Rhetimno town, Zorba’s beach, old Chania town, Theriso.
Like the first time in Platanias for breakfast, New Planet bar it is an option - 70 m away.
I use rent a car from airport - Sunny rent. The hotel have parking available for free.
The staff of the hotel was friendly.
I recommend warmly this hotel.

The apartment is cleaned daily and the cleanliness is at the maximum level. It is equipped with everything you need and looks exactly as it does in the pictures. It is a very nice tourist town. It offers options for tours and visiting other beaches, but this one was perfect for me, as I was travelling for work and it was conveniently near my conference venue.

Compact but lively resort, good selection of bars, restaurants and shops, would suit families with young and older children. Several small supermarkets in town centre ideal for stocking up the apartment, no need to get in the car. Within easy reach of the airport and attractions further afield.

We went during school holidays so it was pretty busy but the tourist high street was quiet during the day while everyone was on the beach. The food was excellent. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. The beach bars were also good. The Cretans were very friendly and helpful. Crete has plenty of interesting sites to visit both inland and on the coast. We would happily return.

Plataniás is bustling - very busy full of shops (which are great) and restaurants. There are, unfortunately, too many places serving chips with everything! We wish there had been some more options, i.e. rice, authentic Cretan dishes, taverna based meals, but it is what it is.
There was no need for a car - most places were walkable.
Our villa was amazing, but we would not return to Plataniás - it seemed to have dropped down a notch since our trip last year. We saw quite a few young (and older) men walking around shirtless and some girls dressed quite inappropriately. I'm not a prude, but it made the area far less salubrious than it should be.

I don't usually like touristy places but Platanias had a lovely feel about it. Not too many people, although this may have been because we went in September. We visited the War Museum - definitely worth it. Also went to John the Hermit cave and monastery at Kissimo which were unbelievable.
Beach was great and snorkeling trip fantastic and well looked after.

Touristy beach town extending along one road with lots and lots of restaurants, bars, hotels etc. lovely to get away from the road onto the beach. Beach was calmer and more relaxed away from the town centre.

The apartment is small but it's perfect for a short vacation. It was very clean, very close to the beach, good value for money. The kitchenette was tiny and didn't have much to offer but it's ok for a few days, more importantly, there is a big fridge where you can easily stuff a huge watermelon. The beach itself had the warmest water from anywhere else (we've been around Crete).
Platanias is close to Chania and it is not crowded at all, great for family holiday with some nice restaurants nearby. We really enjoyed our stay!

The hotel is in a great location – in a quieter village, yet very close to Chania, so it was easy to explore the area. We really enjoyed the pool area, which was very nice and surrounded by lots of beautiful flowers and greenery. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, so there was always something to choose from. Overall, it was a peaceful and pleasant stay.

Perfect location, close to many great restaurants. Extremely friendly staff who went above and beyond for us. We had a late flight and the staff let us stay and use the pool all day, as well as booking us a taxi to Chania. The room and balcony are very spacious and the aircon worked very well. My girlfriend and I had the best time and would highly recommend!

Really nice hotel with 2 pool areas and location is good.
Room was small but being alone it was more than enough for me.
Walking distance from many great restaurants/places and bus stop close to you if you wanna go to Chania.
I can easily say the hotel is worth to visit.
