A typical resort town with a nice beach, many restaurants, shops, gift shops. Early in the morning you can watch the sunrise, the sunset is on the other side of Kassandra arm.
The beach is a bit narrow and in the height of the season it would be more difficult to find places in the free use area. On the other hand, there are quite a few beach bars where you can sit while drinking and eating.
The town is also located in a convenient location, from where within 30-40 minutes by car or less you can visit many other beautiful beaches.

Polichrono is a mid-size village with many taverns, shops, bars, bakeries, etc. It's more suitable for families with kids because the beach is narrow and shallow. It may get very busy and crowded with people, so if you like quite and relaxing places maybe Polichrono is not the best choice for that. The beach is not sandy but with pebbles and big stones in the water. Aquashoes are recommended when you go into the water. The beach front is very narrow (4-6 m in depth) and you can hardly find where to put your towel or umbrella. Free zones are limited and overcrowded. Situation is the same with the paid zones. Prices for sunbeds vary between 10-30 euro depends on the line, and many places require additional food/drink consumption on top of the sunbed charges.

It's a small Greek place, with a few restaurants, cafes and bars, it gets quite crowded in the season, there's not much to do in the place itself.
But the beaches are beautiful and it's a perfect place for families with small children because everything is so close. If I could find accommodation right on the beach, I would probably come back again.

In September, there were mostly older people.
In September, there were mostly older people. Beaches are a bit boring compared to Sithonia's beaches, but still, the water is perfect everywhere. Many beach bars, little shops. The only thing I missed was a bit of wild nature. I found the whole of Kassandra is very built out, while Sithonia is just perfectly wild as I like it.

We loved everything about Polychrono.
We loved everything about Polychrono. We stayed 3 days total and only wish it had been longer to enjoy our villa more! Waking up every morning and seeing the beautiful lemon, olive and pomegranate trees felt like a dream.

Polychrono is a small town with an excellent promenade and sunset views. There is a large choice of tavernas and restaurants. In the evening it is bustling with shops, bars and children's activities. There's a really good variety of shops for browsing.

The first time in my life I feel like I m at my home during my stay, Ivana and her staff was amazing , always asking if everything is alright and if we need something. I feel her sincerity before arrival to the last minute.
Guys, firstly understand Polychrono is not the best part of Halkidiki, you can find better beaches and hotels, but this little town you can feel the calm and peace, you can have a good time.
Pool and breakfast is good , diversity is enough. The first arrival a little bottle of wine welcomes you in a room:)

It is near the centre and you can find easily where to park around the hotel. It is around 10 minutes walking from the beach. The lady on the reception was very nice. The TV, the air conditioner and the fridge were working.
