The friendly and helpful staff (special thanks to Antonis there!), the clean and cosy environment, the comfortable beds, the super tasty breakfast (majority of it being home-made) and the short distance from the center (and the port) made our stay there totally enjoyable!

This was our fourth stay in Aeolis, the first with a small baby. We could not be happier with our choice: from the first moment the hotel staff did everything they could to make our stay comfortable and went above and beyond to help us with the baby: the reception, the breakfast and restaurant staff, the kitchen, the cleaning service! We are grateful for the amazing hospitality and can’t wait to be back at the next occasion! To the parents considering traveling with a small baby: yes, a holiday in the Cyclades islands with a baby is totally possible, if you pick Aeolis!

There are several buses so you can visit other parts of the island without a car.
They are not very frequent though so plan ahead how to come back, and always have the number of a taxi

Tinos Chora- is very pittoresk and gives a mix between , locals, pilgrims and "mykonos"- tourism. Fancy coffebars in the fancy and "ista-decorated" streets beside local shops, friendly bakeries and hrlpfull car- rebtal stuff.. The monastry and the curches are amazing. Plenty of little churches to be seen, if you explore Tinos, sadly most are locked. Very nice marble- artwork, great nature- views, if you take also the non touri- tracks& ways by feet.

- Good food, though sea food is not fresh except for the fishes
- Not green scenic, it is more of an island with dead vegitation, or rocky hills.
- During summer, public transportation work just fine to reach most of the beaches and villages... My fav is Panormos - Rocharis in the north.
- Pyrgos is worth the visit.

We found on Tinos autenthic Greece island, very nice villages with squares, restaurant , greenery, very good food, nice sandy beaches. There are numerous details that is specific for Tinos, like dovecots, or mermer details on houses. Some of villages are outstanding beautiful.

I went to Tinos on my own to do a Greek language course.
I went to Tinos on my own to do a Greek language course. Found people friendly and willing to speak to me when I attempted to speak in Greek! Plenty of places to eat, and a nice place to wander around. The church was worth trekking up the hill to. The beach was around a 30 minute walk away but nice for a swim (I travelled at the end of May so a little brisk!).

These are lovely apartments on the edge of Tinos town, just slightly into the countryside with gardens, making them greener than most of Tinos. Maria, the grandmother was very kind, picking us up and running us down to the ferry. The room was spacious and cleaned daily. From the balcony you could watch the ferries coming and going. We'd definitely consider staying here again.

Excellent location at the heart of the island town of Tinos. Wonderful views from the balcony as well. Hotel building and furniture is somewhat dated but with some modern touches here and there. Double room size is not particularly spacious compared to modern standards, but does the job for a few days.

An excellent hotel. Well appointed rooms and a great restaurant. In the hills with a great view. 10mins to Tinos town but away from the tourist melee. Multiple good local tavernas nearby serving excellent fresh Greek fare.
