HungaryThis is the third time we have stayed at this hotel. It also reflects our opinion of the hotel. The hotel is run by a hardworking and conscientious family. Everyone is very kind and takes ownership of the task of making sure that everything runs smoothly and that guests have a good time. The best thing about the hotel is the pool and the view of the sea and mountains from the poolside. The other is the garden with olive trees. I really like to read under the olive trees.
This year we found that the guests coming to the hotel are very similar, regardless of the country they are from. Families, couples, small groups of friends. There are no travel agencies. That also makes the atmosphere very good. Everyone who comes here wants to relax, read, chat, play cards. It's quiet and peaceful.
The sea is a short walk away. Ipsos restaurants and shops are also in the same area.
We can get to the airport by public transport. You can take the number 7 bus to Corfu town, (the bus stop is 5 minutes from the hotel) and from there you can take the airport shuttle.

The hotel was impeccably clean, with rooms that matched the description on the booking site perfectly. Every morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Miri, the hostess, along with the entire staff, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The resort felt very safe, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy our stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a comfortable and welcoming getaway.

Ypsos is not very nice in itself.
Ypsos is not very nice in itself. The beach is super small and directly next to a busy road with fast driving cars. Crossing it can be dangerous. I wouldn't recommend it, given the large amount of other beautiful beaches the island has.

Ypsos was chosen by a group of post A-Level students who wanted a holiday to relax and unwind with some fun, but not in the overcrowded cliched resorts. Ypsos was a perfect mix of fun and relaxation. Safe and secure. Lovely beach with a host of restaurants and bars and good bus links into Old Corfu Town.

It is very easy to get around Corfu, We stayed in Ypsos, and rented scooters to go around the Island to different beaches.
There's a bus that goes to Corfu town every hour.
Loads of authentic Greek restaurants.
High light was the boat trip to Paxos, Anti-Paxos and the blue caves.
We loved Agios Georgios, and Roda, the trip through the mountains was amazing, the views are indescribable, a must see.
Weather in June is still very hot, nut not July/August hot, and not as busy.

Plenty of good restaurants and bars, not too noisy or busy (but it was September). Particularly enjoyed Squirrel and Kostas. Ypsos beach however is absolutely terrible - very dirty. Travel 15 mins to Barbati - much nicer.

Lots of restaurants and bars. If you expect really good Greek food, you may have a problem. If you want to have a real drink, I recommend only one place - "ISALOS". Fantastic service and tasty drinks. To my surprise, there are some restaurants that seem to be "exclusive", but the dishes served are not that great. When you are looking for typically Greek and hearty food, I honestly haven't come across anything like it. I suspect that some real Greek tavern where meals are served with heart is located high in the mountains. In Ipsos you will find places typically prepared for tourists. Often the price does not match the quality of the meal served.

Very quiet and good place to rest and relax (we have been here in the end of September, in June-August I think situation is a little bit different). For as it was a good location to explore island, near hotel small market and souvenirs shop, restaurant, not to long way to beach and “live” embankment with shops, restaurants and night live; free parking, clean and cozy room, comfortable bed, beautiful garden, pool and nice area near pool, etc.

Fabulous location with a quiet and peaceful setting, and wonderful views. Yet easy to travel to so many different destinations on Corfu from the house for boat trips, activities and lovely restaurants. Spacious and well spread out, charming Villa designed with thought in mind for the different spaces and how they would be used. Such a lovely place to come back to for swimming and relaxing after a day of exploring.

Loved my stay here, quiet, quaint and in a great location! Fantastic breakfast, service and bar available! Will be back most definitely. 30 minute bus ride to Corfu town and staff were regularly supportive, informative and helpful!
