It was such a convenient location near to the start line and the hotel staff even put on an early breakfast for runners participating. The beds are super comfortable, the facilities are nice, and the hotel staff couldn’t be any more helpful or friendly. High recommend.

At the large and beautiful front desk during check in, the Bell boy will bring all your luggage with Bell carts to your room. Rooms are large, very clean and beautiful with big windows from floor up to the ceiling and noiseless. Every few days you get new room slippers, fresh bathrobe. The rooms are provided with fast wifi and fixed internet connection, different power outlets, big flat screen TV and 2 telephones, large 6 meter office desk with a comfortable office seat and many space for your luggage including a save box and a little sofa with table. The bathroom is very spacious with a big clean and beautiful shower cabin with 2 shower heads. All soap and lotions are from a high quality. High quality towels, hair dryer. Every day new tooth brushes, tooth past, bottles water, etc. There is a big swimming pool with towels, dressing room, pool bar, fitness room and spa. During weekends there are food stands in the evening at the pool bar where you can order fresh cooked food and drinks.
The breakfast buffet restaurant on floor 3 is very big and beautiful with many different food sections. You can make choices of Western, Chinese, Japanese and Indonesian food, fruits and drinks. Different choice of high quality coffee and healthy drinks. All food are made fresh and constantly checked by 2 assistant chef cooks on taste, presentation and quality. The assistant chef cooks are always standby at the food sections to serve and provide you with information about the food. All food cutlery ect are sterilized. The restaurant managers which are responsible to ensure the restaurant run smoothly and efficiently and food service managers. All the staff members of the restaurant are highly dedicated to there job and provide you with the best service, its a perfect teamwork with a smile and happy feeling.

Indonesia’s World City
Indonesia’s capital, sprawling Jakarta has hurtled into the 21st-century at a startling rate. Rapidly expanding, it is an eclectic mix of cultures with an electric clubbing scene including the EX at Plaza Indonesia mall and those near Blok M mall, popular with expats. Jakarta shopping is great, with modern malls all over, interspersed with traditional markets, some underground.
Thousands of Jakarta restaurants and cheap street food provide tourists with tons of choices. Little Japan is best for sushi (and karaoke), while colorful Chinatown has fantastic dim sum. Buzzing around all are bajaj, Indonesia’s equivalent of tuk-tuks.
The main Jakarta sights include Monas National Monument in green Merdeka square. Spectacularly lit at night, it has a deck with fantastic city views. Opposite is the presidential palace, patrolled by the national guard. The oldest part is Batavia – the city’s Dutch Colonial name – and is home to the Jakarta History Museum.
Away from the bustle is Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, a suburban park celebrating Indonesia’s rich culture through museums, dance and film, centered around a large lake with Indonesia-shaped islands. Ancol Dream Park also features waterparks, beaches and amusement rides.
Traffic can be manic, so leave time after checking out of your Booking.com accommodation in Jakarta to get to Soekarno Hatta or Halim Perdanakusuma Airport.

It's a clean city with something for everyone, shopping, entertainment and incredible food. I used grab to go everywhere cheaply and although everything is pretty close by geographically the traffic slows things down during peak times. I found a nice western bar called Eastern Promise that had a pool table and have made many friends there, both locals, expats and holiday makers. The Indonesian people are beautiful, always smiling and helpful. I highly recommend visiting.

Jakarta is a fascinating Asian city. It's size makes it difficult to see everything in a few days. I recommend a full week here. We Liked Central Jakarta and M Blok the best. Beautiful friendly locals. The traffic is crazy but the locals attitude towards it is to work as a team which is waaay different to the attitude in the West.. If possible taxi on scooters at peak times otherwise allow an extra chunk of time and try adopt the local attitude. LOVED JAKARTA. PS take a street food tour or walking tour as it's not an easy city to grasp quickly..

We were visiting Jakarta to see my partner's family - but on this occasion we had time to get around a little bit. It's a typical large city - but a guided tour of parts of Jakarta, and the Old Batavia (Kota Tua) district is well worth the visit

People were very helpful. City vibes were very positive.Food was cheap. On one side Elegant shopping malls to visit such as Grand Indonesia ,Sarinah with world class brands, on other hand local markets such as Tamreen city or Pasar Tanha Abang for local products on cheaper rate were available .

We stayed in the centre of Jakarta, a vibrant and modern metropolis . What mostly stands out is friendliness and courtesy of everyone. What was difficult for us was very hot and humid climate, contrasted with really cold shops, restaurants and hotel interiors.

Bit heavy on the smog / taxi or tuktuk is the only way to get around in the area I stayed so dependant on your hotel location. Chinatown was a bit of a dissappointment, more for the locals to trade rather than for tourists.

This is probably the most beautiful Langham hotel we’ve stayed at - interior is just top-notch, very aesthetically pleasing. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, the bathroom was so good we didn’t want to leave the room at all :) Tom’s restaurant had the most amazing breakfasts we’ve had in Indonesia - taking buffet option is highly recommended! the staff was extremely polite and helpful with all the requests we had.

I am a fan of staying in the hotel every time I come to visit Jakarta for leisure or a business trip. For me it is accessible and convenient where you want as it was just distant to the Grand Indonesia dan Plaza Indonesia as well as many eateries below the building for those who are always craving for food.
